Elvis was physically sick in 77 and still did his best to perform. He did it for his fans and band members....yet people tend to comment on his appearance. Do any of us stay young and thin? He did the best he could.
He was truly a maverick of music, just as things were changing in this country and the youth were looking for leadership, he came along. There is no doubt his talent and musical genious is beyound compare.Sadly age, health and pressures to look and sound exactly as he did in his 20's, took it's revenge on his body and mind.Besides, he was a first, as far as world wide fame, he had no one to confide in for advise, like todays' celeb's, because before him no one had been that famous. He did his best!
A video showin the greatest Rock and Roll Icon of All Time, Elvis on different eras - 1956, 1968 and 1977. Thanks for the upload. Long live Rock & Roll!!!
pt.2, "The 'Elvis As Victim' Fallacy vs. Spirit" 3)We honor him, and the 'Christ w/in' charisma which ran the show when we, even and esp. in these (dare I say it??) last days, share our God-given gifts and celebrate each moment of our lives in Love with and for one another (Somebody say 'Amen!' lol) p.p.s. Speaking of 'lol', I've never known anyone who not only laughed as much as Elvis did but had that blessed twinkle in his eye (key: always keep your eyes on his eyes!). Peace and Love, really.
"The 'Elvis As Victim' Fallacy vs. Spirit", pt.1 The only thing wrong w/this little gem is that it's only 1:38 long! SO cool! Where do I sign up?! Robbie p.s. re: other comments, here/there. To use words like 'disturbing' in response to Elvis' 'condition' in his final years, while emotionally honest and heartfelt, falls short of the higher reality, that 1) Elvis gave the world his all until the day he went home, 2) he didn't go anywhere until he was called, and... (please see 'pt.2')
all your video's are 5 star..they will be in my fav's..thanks for your hard work and for posting these great videos of elvis. really enjoyed them all..

It's just too incredibly disturbing to see what happened to E between '68 and '77, too, too, disturbing.
