The president is a Christian. It would have been wrong of him to have another faith give the prayer. If he was Pagan, Muslim, or Jewish it wouldn't have been appropriate for a Christian minister to pray. This was America's inauguration for HIM after all. If you hated chocolate and I made you a chocolate cake for YOUR birthday it wouldn't make sense. Warren is one of the most recognizable, and loved Christian authors/Pastors/Witnesses in the world. Excellent video! I am not comfortable with Rick Warren being chosen to give a prayer. I don't like a few things about him, and his stand on same-sex marriages is just one of them. The choice of Rick Warren is an interesting choice. So nobody can pray to God and ask God to bless a president's term in office who is not a mega church pastor, and a famous pastor? God does not listen to ordinary people? I don't like the theological implications of this choice either.
