How about showing what a potential employee can achieve ? Give an idea, see it through with colleagues, show the end benefits of this idea to the world/ the company, and how they will be rewarded in terms of recognition / pay / etc. Imagine playing table football, getting a massage, chatting with your dog, then watching as an idea of yours is continually blocked as it is vying with 3000 others a month, etc. Get real !!!

its known as establishing an employee value proposition, and becoming an employer of choice through your employer brand. these things help set google apart from other companies, and they're good things too, no other company in the world does stuff like this, and the success is clear, via google's success as a whole. if you look into actually applying at google then they do tell you about development opportunities etc but this stuff is to simply stand out from the crowd. and they do it very well!

It's a work-place - yet what seems to be important - both to the current employees, and those who enthuse about how wonderful it must be to work there, is how much playing you can do, can you bring your dog in, how many choices of food you get.
