  • @MegaJesusfreaks You can work the half double crochet instead.

  • no entendi un carajo jajaja

  • this shit is rocket science! I just wanna make my own rasta hat D:

  • i couldn't understand what you were doing. you went to fast for me to see anything :/

  • i said beret when i meant slouch...i think...i just wanna make the one featured in the video :D

  • could you please send me the links to the basic beginner crochet stitches. I really would love to be able to make the rasta beret beanie without the popcorn stitch...but i am getting frustrated in trying to do so because I lack the basic knowledge for crocheting....You have soo many wonderful videos! i wish my computer didn't take so long to load each individual video :(

  • @MsNecro93 if you go to any good craft store (Michaels or Ac Moore are some examples) they have books with detailed drawings of the stitches. They also have single sheets if you don't want to spend the money on the books. These were extremely helpful for me when I needed to learn a new stitch.

  • @MsNecro93 Hopefully you got the playlist I sent. I was unable to send you a message since you have friend lock enabled.

  • i haven't watched this video but does seriously make the hat in the duration of these two videos so like 20 minutes?

  • no se ensucian rapido eos gorritos?

  • Do you have a guide in how to start crocheting, because i dont understand a single word you are saying, but i really want to learn how to do this

  • @IxStealthKillZxI I have all the basic beginner crochet stitches in a playlist that I will send to you in a link.

  • when you do the first half double crochet, do you go through the circle you made?

  • This cap can be made without the popcorn stitch. Use a half double crochet instead of the popcorn.

  • They look irie!

  • that looks awsome

  • Do you have any videos on how to do the Rast Hat WITHOUT the Popcorn? I love this hat, made it also...but now I want to make a variation but I'm not sure what to substitute the Popcorn stich with. Thanks up front for all your help. GREAT videos by the way!

  • Just use the Half Double crochet to replace the popcorn. It will turn out the same.

  • Hi Ms. teresa I love your videos and your work you have really gotten me hip on this crocheting thing thanks so muchh for being clear and precise.

  • Thank you, I appreciate the comment. Happy crocheting. :)

  • ah!..it seemed too fast for me..then again i'm JUST starting to crochet

  • I will suggest the pause and rewind that is available on the player. I have been using slow motion for quite a while now. Unfortunately I did not have it with this video. Please ask if you need help.

  • I love this...but I'm quite confused with how you added the color. I looked at another one of your videos...but I'm not following...

  • I apologize for that. I will send you a link for adding color.

  • wat if u dont want a popcorn stitch? do u just do one hdc on each stitch?

  • Just do a regular stitch. It will not make much of a difference.

  • ok thank you! ur videos are awesome.

  • Thank you, I appreciate the comment. :)

  • neic job:)

  • Thank you. :)

  • ok tjw1963. ur vids are awesome. i made my first beanie following ur tutorial but im having some difficulty...feeling kinda dumb actually, after i do the first HDC, i jus cant see where u put the 2nd...im lost. can u help me out please

  • You insert your hook in the CH 1 space. That is underneath the the chain to complete your stitch.

  • I LOVE YOU! Thanks for sharing your great skills in these fantastic videos, thank you!

  • You are welcome. :)

  • I have tryed to meak that Cap but it ends up as a ball every time (5) times. hvat em I doing wrong?

  • It would be hard for me to know what you are doing wrong, without seeing what exactly you are doing. You are more than welcome to post a video response of how you are crocheting your hat and then I might have a better idea.

  • thanks but i'v dont have a camera ):

I am going thrug somme of your other videos. meibi I'll figure it out.

  • This is awesome! Thank you for your amazing videos!

  • You are welcome. :)

  • You are Bomb!

your videos help me sooo much thank you!

  • You are welcome. :)

  • Hmmm ok i shall try that.

Im gonna measure his head i think that would be best.

    Thank you!

  • I really want to make this for a guy. Could i do it the same way without the popcorn stitch? As well would this fit a large guys head. or would i have to increase it. If i would where would i have to increase it?

  • You can make it the same way without the popcorn. Just use a half-double crochet instead of the popcorn. I would suggest measuring his head. You may need to revise the pattern if his head is real large. As it is now, the cap is done for a 22-24" head. You can use a larger hook and add increase rounds to make it larger.

  • I know someone who pays between $40-$50 for this cap.

  • can you ship this to mexico?

  • The cap?

  • yes

  • How can I get the written pattern?

  • There is a link to my crochet blog to the lower right of the video under "more info".

  • the link doesnt work

  • For some reason it was directing to a blog that didn't belong to me even though it was the same link as mine. It is fixed now.

  • hey Teresa.. how much would you price these for if you were to sell them in a garage sale?

  • I think in the right marketplace they should sell for around $30.00. I have mine listed for $20.00 on Etsy. The link to all the caps I have been trying to sell is in the "more info" to the right of the video.

  • As in a craft bizarre?

  • I would put a price of between $20.00-$30.00. If they are not selling as the day passes, you can always change the price. I always like to start out higher. I truly believe they are worth more than $30.00 but that does not mean they will sell for that.

  • i always waned to make my own rasta caps, lady you are amazing

  • Thank you. :)

  • Teresa thank you so much for your awesome videos. I'm a guy and recently started picking this craft up after living with my aunt for a while (she's quite good). I completed my first project, which was a scarf, but my goal was to learn to make beanies. Could you recommend a fairly easy pattern for a beanie that a beginner can pick up and knockout fairly easily?

  • I have a very easy beanie tutorial posted on here.

  • OK THANKS SO MUCH *WAVES* :>)

  • Oh that is so pretty . I do injoy your video's

  • Part Two is posted as a video response. Written instructions are posted on my crochet blog. The link is to the lower right of the video. Click the "MORE" link.
