I started watching Bishop Patterson years ago while my life was in shambles and disarray and I credit him in part to turning my life away from sin. I was distressed wien he went to be with the Lord. If any man has been called of Heaven itself, Patterson was. The sheer confidence of his own office of God silences but the foolish. Yes, he was mortal, but like the Apostle Paul, the man was confident and sure of his own calling and he gave it dignity.
@aejaie Ok, thanks. I grew up Catholic and the priests wear the exact same robes. There is also a charismatic movement in the Catholc church which has almost the same type of praise / worship/

My friend, I believe it is you that must humble yourself. To lift up your voice against a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, who in my opinion was one of the few preachers that lived what he said and one of the few people that prayed for and still loved Judgmental black hearted people like yourself, is an offence against the Lord he served. If you were offended then I apologize. It is always nice have clarity because a statement can be easily interpted many different ways when reading it. Just llike the word of God!

lol, He isn't White. He is very fair skin, or light skin. But, he is one of the elders at the church. He is actually a physician as well. He spoke at the Men's meeting in Memphis this year. He was also one of Bishop Patterson's doctors.
what matters is your soul which does not have color. You are no different than any other soul. Your soul is wrapped in skin. Some skins are lighter some darker. The Lord who saved the Hebrews from Egypt is the same Lord who created you and everyone else. He chose Irael because they was forced to serve as slaves and made to worship idol gods not because they was lighter or darker. We who are not Hebrew are all gentile regardless of color. Jesus said he came to save that which is lost!
No of course it doesnt matter if you are a white man. There is no diffrence in your skin tone. God created us all equal..The Church of God in christ accepts all. There are many white people,mexicans and all nationalties in the church..You are welcome!

2cogic4u You must remember Bishop P. watch his father, uncle and Bishop Mason and many others preach with the same annointing. He mentioned his father in this sermon. He also studied to show himself approved unto God. Which is the true annointing. Much prayer and fasting. Every preacher seeks that detail from the Lord. I call it usurping the word. You will have the full understanding of the Hebrew canon or old testament. I mean being able to preach from old and new and make sense of it.

well this is what its all about encouragement. Jesus said if we do not love one another the Love of the father is not in us. I look at a lot of other preachers on youtube and I must say Bishop GE patterson is the best. He never condemned other preachers like the others do. I saw a message from tonex or pastor Anthony williams and the remarks about him falling away was horrible. Our job is to help restore not destroy. Other preachers fight each other with messages and post them on here.
What about the souls who hear that and never come to know the Lord because of them??? I am 3rd generation COGIC. I learned to watch before I react to stuff. everyone crying Holy is not. Jesus said wolves in sheeps clothing. I have seen the 5 fold ministry and missionaries and others who declare their titles pollute the word of the Lord. And then ask for an offering.LOL And if you dont give the amount they demand you will go to hell.LOL They also preach on each other. We are to speak HOLINESS
We have to make sure HOLINESS is our lifestyle in everthing we do or our lack of HOLINESS will be exposed through our messages when we speak. Dicernment is real. Holy Ghost check points 1 is the gift 2 proof speak in a new tongue from the Holy Ghost 3 bare the 9 fruit of the spirit all day everyday. There are many who say you are not in the spirit all day. Ok but the spirit will manifest himself all day if you let him. The more you obey the Lords word the more you will uplift people in HOLINESS
This man is annointed. Other church leaders should watch him and learn something. What good is knowing scriptures if you don't start the engine? If the leaders aren't excited about God how can they expect their followers to be? Too many church leaders are putting their followers to sleep with their syrupy songs and sugar coated messages! We are supposed to praise the King of Kings with a joyful noise! Like in this church.

My friend, I believe it is you that must humble yourself. To lift up your voice against a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, who in my opinion was one of the few preachers that lived what he said and one of the few people that prayed for and still loved Judgmental black hearted people like yourself, is an offence against the Lord he served. Not to mention the fact that he has passed away you insinsitive Christian hater.

And another thing; you sound like the atheist that always tries to find fault in the Christian that may be popular. All he had on was a Gold Cross that he swore before men and God to wear and a ring that was sworn to be worn as well. If you know anything about Liturgical wear, both represent a sign of enslavement to the work of the Lord.

He could not even wear a wedding ring I know I am one that dressed and served him in life and in his death so you humble yourself and repent for judging what you know not of you Pharisee. And if it takes you five years to make the money that he spent or rather that the DENOMINATION spent on both the cross and ring then you need to quit that job and sell cans at least with selling cans it wont take five years to make that money.

Happily, and for some reason only known to God, the very secular Imus loved GE Patterson and used to play his sermons on his radio program (respectfully), and Patterson even appeared live on the program from time to time. That's how he came to my attention, and loved his preaching ever since. Thank you, Brother Rollins, for posting this.

I wasn't being so "deep' or going left either. I was simply doing what you did. Stating my opinion which is supported truth. So I just REPLIED to your reply. It was't a personal attack. If you were offended then I apologize. It is always nice have clarity because a statement can be easily interpted many different ways when reading it. Just llike the word of God!

I wasnt saying Bishop wasn't present with the Lord, I was saying that he isnt physically "alive and well" which the term means- I had replyed to someone's comment months ago then you just saw it and went left field.

You are precious in the site of the Lord and if you have not found a ministry do not be discouraged. If you have found one be faithful and allow the Lord by His Word and Spirit to minister to you. Remember, Jesus came to minister (serve) and give His life as a ransom (Mark 10:45) and He his still serving many! Sincerely.

lol, He isn't White. He is very fair skin, or light skin. But, he is one of the elders at the church. He is actually a physician as well. He spoke at the Men's meeting in Memphis this year. He was also one of Bishop Patterson's doctors.

what matters is your soul which does not have color. You are no different than any other soul. Your soul is wrapped in skin. Some skins are lighter some darker. The Lord who saved the Hebrews from Egypt is the same Lord who created you and everyone else. He chose Irael because they was forced to serve as slaves and made to worship idol gods not because they was lighter or darker. We who are not Hebrew are all gentile regardless of color. Jesus said he came to save that which is lost!

2cogic4u You must remember Bishop P. watch his father, uncle and Bishop Mason and many others preach with the same annointing. He mentioned his father in this sermon. He also studied to show himself approved unto God. Which is the true annointing. Much prayer and fasting. Every preacher seeks that detail from the Lord. I call it usurping the word. You will have the full understanding of the Hebrew canon or old testament. I mean being able to preach from old and new and make sense of it.

well this is what its all about encouragement. Jesus said if we do not love one another the Love of the father is not in us. I look at a lot of other preachers on youtube and I must say Bishop GE patterson is the best. He never condemned other preachers like the others do. I saw a message from tonex or pastor Anthony williams and the remarks about him falling away was horrible. Our job is to help restore not destroy. Other preachers fight each other with messages and post them on here.

What about the souls who hear that and never come to know the Lord because of them??? I am 3rd generation COGIC. I learned to watch before I react to stuff. everyone crying Holy is not. Jesus said wolves in sheeps clothing. I have seen the 5 fold ministry and missionaries and others who declare their titles pollute the word of the Lord. And then ask for an offering.LOL And if you dont give the amount they demand you will go to hell.LOL They also preach on each other. We are to speak HOLINESS

We have to make sure HOLINESS is our lifestyle in everthing we do or our lack of HOLINESS will be exposed through our messages when we speak. Dicernment is real. Holy Ghost check points 1 is the gift 2 proof speak in a new tongue from the Holy Ghost 3 bare the 9 fruit of the spirit all day everyday. There are many who say you are not in the spirit all day. Ok but the spirit will manifest himself all day if you let him. The more you obey the Lords word the more you will uplift people in HOLINESS

This man is annointed. Other church leaders should watch him and learn something. What good is knowing scriptures if you don't start the engine? If the leaders aren't excited about God how can they expect their followers to be? Too many church leaders are putting their followers to sleep with their syrupy songs and sugar coated messages! We are supposed to praise the King of Kings with a joyful noise! Like in this church.
