NO WAY!! I sooo remember this and the old scifi logo/opening! That takes me way back...wow I miss old-school scifi channel when it used to show saturday morning anime movies and saturday night anime!
dominion tank police,venus wars,8 man after,lily cat,robot carnival,demon city shinjuku,tenchi muyo in love this was what made my youth fun i miss old scifi channel!
I cant find some sorta 3d anime I saw as a kid all I remember was there was a desert, some big vehicle....and I saw at a store either unclaimed freight or kb toys a toy vehicle but I cant seem to find it/the toy anywhere if you know alot of these anime's from the 90's and could find out which one it was I saw I would appreciate it its been nagging me for 10 or more years now...
Im 26 and remember watching this show religiously every Saturday morning at 9am back when I was a kid. I look at the anime they play on TV today and Im just like "wtf is this shit?!" lol
I still remember the first real anime I ever saw, and it was on saturday morning anime on sci-fi.
I was about 8 years old, watching sci-fi at my grandma's. I saw this guy in black with a cape. I thought it was a cartoon of an old sega genesis game, "Chakan the Forever Man." Then he whips this sword out and slashes this monsters in half vertically, and it's brains and guts spilled out. It was nuts!
Maaaan, Saturday Anime was THAT SHIT! The best days of Sci-Fi (not Syfy) Channel. The Anti-Gravity Room, Bionic Woman, Six Million Dollar Man, The Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man (live-action), re-runs, etc. *sigh* Good times, good times. This is where I first saw (and recorded on VHS) Project A-ko. To this day, it's still one of my favorite features.
I remember seeing this on Sci-Fi, and it was pretty much garbage, haha. The dub was obviously atrocious even then, and the plot had a lot in common with Scientology beliefs. Luckily it was really short (under an hour!) and was padded by some shorts from Robot Carnival.
Ah, I remember this movie! This is back when the Sci-fi channel was full of win. I tried to look for this all over the net, from online stores to torrents but no avail.
And Finally, what I REALLY liked about this movie was Sarah who is a real badass in that movie. God do I want to see her in action again! :)
Ha i so remember this back in the day. I also dont recall if this was good or not but I do remember bits and pieces of it was boring and I didnt understand the whole story but the action was pretty good tho. I think I was 11 or 12 when I saw this on scifi channel lol. (23 now lmao god the years fly by^^)
This..as I discovered was the last anime that Sci-fi channel showed at the time befor they came out with anime-monday.I wish they'd bring back some of the more classic animes like that on this channel again.

I wish someone would play the whole show on TV again. Heck, I'd even take Hulu.

@MrArtist24
it's on youtube. I saw it when it aired on sci-fi (re: this ad), and it was cool. I like older anime better than most of the newer stuff.

I later found out it was "Vampire Hunter D."
Saturday Anime was the most awesome thing ever.

I loved Saturday Anime, during the old days. But alas, now Sci-Fi Channel sucks; especially now, since they're now called syfy.
