This singer has one of the best Rock & Roll voices ever. Tesla was one of the few bands to emerge from the '80's Metal scene who truly had soul and talent. I'm glad to hear they're still doing it after all these years.
By the way, I learned only yesterday that this song was originally done by a group called PhD in 1981. I prefer Tesla's version WAAAAAAYY more.
Tesla is just a great band whose music appealed to the everyman. There has never been any fluff with them, just pure rock and roll. If I might add, they are by far one of the best live bands to ever hit the stage. I first saw them at the Texxas Jam in '87, where they proved they belonged on that bill. Great song, awesome band.
I had the same leather Jacket Jeff Keith is wearing a Wilson with no tight grab around the waist or wrists They 99 bucks at the wilson leather jacket store in every mall good times !!!
Wow I just listened to the original by PHD man was that bad, im surprised tesla even wanted to cover it as bad as it was, they took a crap song from the band that wrote it and made it a hit.

@borumir preach on. Tesla never gets enough air play. which i find shocking since all of their songs are so much better than most of the 80's hair metal douche bags.
@qwertydorknut5 there was a certain standard uniform for most heavy metal bands. In Hollywood there was a clothing industry set up to supply both the bands and the fans. Also you could not be the least bit overweight and be in a band with the exception of the drummer back then.
Does anybody know if there was a rift between Tommy and Frank? Tommy is a good guitar player, yet this is only 1 of 2 songs that I knew Tommy to do any of the guitar solos in, the other being Edison's Medicine.
@walktrotcanter01 Shared lead duties on Makin' Magic, Cumin atcha Live, Modern Day Cowboy, Paradise. Played solos on Lazy Days/Crazy Nights, Lady Luck, Flight To Nowhere, Ez Cum Ez Go, Signs, these are just off the top of my head. Seems Frank probably did 60% or so of the solos. Both had contrasting styles which brought more to the songs.
@jkgeiger1 The only real band here in the states that actually play real rock n roll would be Halestorm. I'm talking new bands not the old vets (like Maiden).
They opened for Def Leppard at the first rock concert I ever saw back in 1987. They blew Def Leppard away and I have been a fan ever since. I don't think I could've made it through my teenage years without Tesla's first two albums. They kept me going when things were down and made me happier when times were good. A positive influence on me musically. My pick for best rock band ever.

There's a version of this video that may never be seen. Features some model that was hired to play the part of Suzie, but according to Jeff Keith she was a total Diva/drama queen on the set so they cut out all of her parts from the released video. Too bad, I'd like to see it some day.
Saw him last year in Daytona and his voice was fried. They used to be great but after all thes years, expecting him to hit the notes still is a stretch.
I remember the first time I was in a strip joint and this hot blonde danced to this for her finale. I said "Hi Suzie" she almost dropped and said "How did you know my name?" DUUHHHH LOL Great song
