It pushed the envelope for different sounds, appearances, different blues styles, rock styles, and playing ur ass off. There's nothing gay about. Your uptight if you don't like 80's or 90's rock. @msh68789 sup dude... that is nuts at 317. but its actually not that challenging to do. there harmonics basically ur hammering and pulling off frets usually in between 3rd and 5th frets on the higher strings and barely touching the strings w ur picking hand it works great if u have on like a ring and u slide it across the strings barely touching them. check out zakk wylde. he does this trick often

Fret 2, but it's not the fret, artificial harmonics can come out in any key on any fret. You have to find the right picking spot, they go higher the further you pick. Then tap the bar.

Kudos on using your Floyd stiff - nearly everyone I see with any tremolo uses the bar hanging down loose. I used to have it like that, but A) it was annoying having to reach down for it, and B) if you have a vintage Fender style trem, it can lead to damage and "play" in the bar, i.e wobbling and a bad fit. I use it stiffy now, and it's way better once you get used to it =]
