Very good review, keep u the good work!

I own several Acer notebooks and they are indeed very good and have a nice design.

I have got 4 Acer laptop’s 1 used as server, that’s the Acer Aspire 7520.

About heating… once every 6~9 months clean the fan (very easy to do) and you will be alright, even in the summer.

There for be happy with you Aspire 7520, it has never let me down!

I have one its quite alright but it really really overheats in summer i did upgrade the ram because the ram it came with wasn't enough and also get rid on windows vista and put windows 7 on vista was so crap... over all quite a good laptop you just have to keep it cool

lol u idiot, its a very very good laptop. I have one aspire 7520 with 2 gb ddr2 and 7000M graphic card. Nfs pro streets running properly and its not such an old game.. but wtf im not a gamer at least. Those who wanna play hard games with small fps, BUY AN COMPUTER, laptops/notebooks are not made for that!! ( not at all :P)

Thanks for the nice comment,trust, I've been waiting a long time. My 7520 only has 1GB DDR2 but it does have the nvidea 7000M. And I'm afraid I'm gonna have to disagree with your comment on laptops not being made for gaming. Loads of laptops are made for gaming (one being the Dell XPS) and I've been pushing my 5920 as hard as I can (playing WoW and Counter-Strike at the same time + other stuff) but I still can't seem to get any lag. Anyway, I digress, thanks for the nice comment.

I've got an Aspire 7520-5907. AMD Turion 2Ghz Dual Core, 4GB DDR2 RAM, 250GB HDD, and nVidia 8600GS with 512MB Video memory. All in all it's not a uber awesome desktop status, but it plays games pretty well. Handles Crysis at low to medium settings, and COD4 plays perfectly at 1440x900 with pretty good settings for graphics. Bluetooth and dual hard drive bays are a plus on this machine.

dont buy this shit. You will only get depressed by the poor cooling system which lets the computer overheat under heavy load... I had this computer for half a year and the gpu and cpu was at 80 celcius all the time while playing and periodly went 100 celcius and above leaving me with horrible lagging etc etc. It's not a good computer, dont buy it.

I actually cant help but agree with one of your points in that comment, the heat is pretty disappointing. It's the same with that laptop and my new laptop (Aspire 5920). Plus, the fan on the back burns your leg if you have the laptop on your lap for more than half an hour, so i have to put a book under the fan XD.

thank god they changed the rather cheap looking grey plastic inside. THe new aspire models like the 7730g are black inside and the acer logo on the top cover is shining blue. For games i would choose nothing less then a Geforce 8600M GT, the new ones have Geforece 9600M GT.

nice dude, im typing from one 7520 acer aspire lappy. The difference from yours is mine has 2gb ddr2 and 240gb serial ata 5400 rpm. The only problem is graphic, sux a lil but I'm not a gamer so its all good. My battery life's upto 3h ( tested ). Keep up the good work, cool video

i am typing t yping this on a aspire 7520 g and it doesent have one big speaker,wich it makes you think it has,it has two small speaker on each side(i went over them with a weak magnet and felt the repulsion)

This computer sucks for games (build you own if you like games), and it is a bit big (but who cares if it is just going to be in your room all the time). But it is a decent computer for normal use like internet, msn, porn and all that stuff. Anyway, Thanks for the review, at least I'm not the only one to buy this shit.

Personally I think the sound is really clear and much more distinguished than other laptops' sound, especially those with speakers at the front. I compared the sound of these speakers to the sound of my other external speakers andi found that the other speakers were terribly muffled compared to the sound of these, anyway long story short - They are brill! :P

Yeah I got that laptop 3 days ago and it runs pretty new games very good! And that sound, you dont even need to buy speakers to get a good sound cause it is very clear and loud if you want!

i totally agree, even on great detail my laptop runs nearly all my games at optimal speed. plus the speakers are brilliant, ive tried my old computer speakers on it but compared to the built-in speakers they're really muffled.
