I don't know what it is about Gheorghiu which angers people so...perhaps her over exposure, but she is one of the few modern divas who reminds me of the golden era of opera. She sings with a sense of the tradition of all the great divas who came before her.

@lorbo77 Actually, the singer is the most important instrument in this case. The musicians have to keep up with her, although we singers also have to know the timing of the piece.
