  • Me? ok,

-strong passion for animals since forever..seriously.

    -i'm determined, perfectionist, utterly patient.

-fear of talking to crowds -fear of heights but that can be overcome-.-'

-i like the idea of travelling in my career

-i dont know what job i want to have yet. Keeping my options open.

-is there a job that can get me involved with rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned, abused, or endangened wildlife.- maby from poachers

    -Any job ideas?

  • @jekari0 Wildlife Rehabilitator

  • @SammySam1261 Cheers! :)

  • @jekari0 conservationist!

  • @jekari0 marine biologist (example; oil spill prevention), environmental protection, veterinarian

  • @danielmartinex if i become an marine biologist... would i travel a lot?! and i want to work out in the field not in the labs...

  • @reviseyourdemise I understand... i dont like labs too... Would you travel alot? thats up to you mostly. You can volunteer or get internships around the world as much as you want/can. If you do research you will be able to travel to conferences/events about the topics you study, if you do conservation it would be similar. Or you could even do science communication (natgeo, discovery channel, BBC, etc) they travel alot too! cheers!

  • @danielmartinex yeah i would... that would be great and the topics would be something with marine biology or zoology and write stuff about it for the heck of it! what are you currently doing if you're doing this?!

  • @reviseyourdemise Im about to start uni next year :P But i have a lot of contact with biologists and geologists so i sort of know how the thing works :D I want to study ecology and evolutionary biology

  • @danielmartinex cool it sounds like fun but a lot of math o.O i think i'm majoring in marine biology and minoring in zoology... i just hope it all works out! and good luck!!! :D

  • I'd love to become a Wildlife Biologist or Zoologist. I've still got some time to think about it but I really know I wouldn't enjoy anything more. When I was little I'd say I wanted to be a vet. Now I see the more complex fields that deal with animals and I'm thrilled to say that this is what I want to spend my life doing. Is there anything I should be doing now, in high school, that will up my chances of getting a shot at one of these careers?

  • @SmooshCakes envrionmental science at A -level!

  • I want a job where i study all animals and travel around the world what a good job for that plz answer

  • I just found out my passion is working with wild life animals..... urg, but i already have a IT undergrad and a master in management.... what can I do with it? Why didn't i see this earlier?

Is it too late to do anything? hopeless.....

  • @tammyx423 why would it be too late? it's only "late" because we're brought up to think that our lives have to be linear and that you're stuck with the choices you made. who cares if you're 65 years old and you're only now discovering your passion. i'm sure you can find a way to use your degrees with an organization that works with animals (obviously in a management type of position), but if you really want a hands-on experience, maybe you should consider taking a few classes in biology.

  • im in college to be a wildlife biologist/animal science major wish me luck

  • i just want to ask u something... if for example what u r studying can u search for unknown creatures or only the know.

ps good luck in your studies

  • the unknown is studied by crypto zoologists not wildlife bios or zoologists.

im majoring in Wildlife bio and mastering in zoology

  • good luck! i'm actually in my final year of college and am thinking of joining Operation Wallacea in one of their many research expeditions across the globe. It's GREAT for the experience (and for the resume) but it sure as hell can be pricey. The good thing though is that the org helps you set up fundraisers to get you going, so it's really not impossible. But i'm going to need a hell of a lot of luck raising 4500 dollars.

  • best of luck to you =D im just starting out myself been planning to do this for years.

  • The best of luck! I'm hoping to do the same myself one day =)

  • i wanna be a zoologist! but i have a question: are maths important for this job?

  • you will prolly have to take calculus. prolly by college you will be ready for calc, even if you think you cannot do it now. i got horrible grades in hs math, but now am doing excellent in my college math

  • my maths grades are excellent but that because my teacher is dumb... i suck in maths! well, thnx anyway...

  • Yes, well kind of. I am a zoology student with a cooncentration in pre-veterinary medicine and I have to go as high as calculus I and take an statistic class. I am currectly taking calculus and it's sort of tough but if you are still in high school I will recommend to take as many math classes as you can and if you can take pre-calculus or calculus then you will be ahead of the game. Zoology is an awesome major, I totally love it. Good Luck

  • and they give alot of money and i love animals

  • ive been wanting to be a zooligist since i was 6

  • i wanna do thet. i heard u earn up tp 70k a year. plus the work is good!

  • what is a zoologists day plan like and what hours of the day do they work?

  • I want to be a zoologist or a zoo nurse attendant, this video really helped out.

  • I want that job!

  • This really helped me for a school project. Thanks.

  • i want a job doing that.
