All you kids think it's "rice", but don't understand that the rear spoiler adjusts the aerodynamics of the car for specific modifications. In this case it is most likely to eliminate most of the understeer since the prelude is a front wheel drive. Just some info.

@libinls You're the only person I have every heard say that, most people find cars with a long front and short rear to be very attractive as it gives the car a very sporty look. The length though is actually one of the main reasons the car handles so well.

You see i like honda to a point because there are many different things you can do with it. They make so many seperate high performance pieces that would come stock on other cars but fit any other, too bad theres only 2 cars that are rear and one 4wd 1993 accord wagon
@besman007 If you look at the corner direction and entry speed, it would be because the wheel is off the ground (or close to it) due to weight transfer hence, even with ABS it won't stop the wheel from locking up.
uhmm thumbs up to JUN for making all of their proformance parts for the h22, i personally have seen unbelieveable gains to my 93 prelude. with about 7 thousand dollars in parts and shipping i was able to create over 310 hp to the wheels with the help of my local dyno DTM. BIG thanks to all the support i got from jun when installing the products. i will have an in car video up soon. from what i know its the most power NA ,& highest reving h22. 215 poundsoftorque from 3300-9700 rpm got VTEC?

270 HP all motor is very impressive honestly. I still prefer boost more :) Much respect to the H22! I have a 5th gen prelude SH myself and totally love it.
@Rowdie999 yep, but a kid i knew in college has an h23 which is a 2.3l in his civic hatch making 230whp. pretty good engine just very little aftermarket support compared to a B-series.
@ajra94 the 5th gen, it looks more modern and they have a jdm version with a type s, which has 223 hp...faster then the integra type r and acura rsx type s..the 4th gens are still nice but im pretty sure they cant fit the type s engine because of the atts

I'm surprised they left the stock breaks on it... I upgraded the pads on mine and it still doesn't have enough when they get hot.. Need bigger rotors and more pad surface.
i coulda sworn this thing was using a experimental ohlins set of coilover. on the touge test i think thats what it was said to be using. just goes to show what a black art suspension tuning is. btw why is there so much hate. i'll race your muscle car anyday with a stock pos like a paseo or somthing and whoop you on a tight technical track. its about the fun of driving not what you drive.

coilovers , the quality is bad but from what I can read it says
"ZEEL height adjustable modified coilovers"
with 19kg on the front, and 14kg on the rear.
obviously the car is well setup for handling, which is a shock because I thought the general consensus was that a firmer rear end on a FWD car was the better direction?
question to anyone who can answer... if i was to buy a honda prelude si around.. 93" - 96" would it be possible to simply drop in a h22a vtec engine? im curious because i really want to do this and chuck a turbo on it :D
@EviLxWiLLxPrEvAiL you know if you go on wikipedia and look up the prelude and look at the SI trim which has an h23 engine and although the H23A1 engine doesn'tt have VTEC, its lower compression makes it capable to handle a turbo application reliably without any modifications to the motor.
@orozcoluis09 hmm true that ay. so in other words if i was to try drop in a h22a into a honda prelude si.. there would have to be other modifications to be done for the turbo to be fitted? cuz atm im on my p's so turbo's wont be coming for another year or two yet.. but just seeing which engines are easier and cheaper to work with.. must say i love the h22a vtec engine though.. lol
@EviLxWiLLxPrEvAiL now that i dont know. i never looked into that because i used to own a prelude si and i purposely got that one because my mechanic said he would be able to slap the motor on the h23 no problem. because if u put an h22 on a prelude si its still the same h22 and it still has the same compression so it would most likely still need mods to chuck a turbo on it

Wow love this video,, and my Prelude.. I wish they would make a new prelude.. But i've deff seen more people respect the lude's .. they should because they are great cars'' i think this one had ac too. if they would have by passed it they would get even more low end and HP, Not a lot but deff a lot more torque..

I wish they would have made a like TYPE SR or something with a 2.5L.. you'd see Prelude's whippin up on STI's and EVO's more often.
I'm surprised they left the stock breaks on it... I upgraded the pads on mine and it still doesn't have enough when they get hot.. Need bigger rotors and more pad surface.

i coulda sworn this thing was using a experimental ohlins set of coilover. on the touge test i think thats what it was said to be using. just goes to show what a black art suspension tuning is. btw why is there so much hate. i'll race your muscle car anyday with a stock pos like a paseo or somthing and whoop you on a tight technical track. its about the fun of driving not what you drive.

coilovers , the quality is bad but from what I can read it says
"ZEEL height adjustable modified coilovers"
with 19kg on the front, and 14kg on the rear.
obviously the car is well setup for handling, which is a shock because I thought the general consensus was that a firmer rear end on a FWD car was the better direction?

question to anyone who can answer... if i was to buy a honda prelude si around.. 93" - 96" would it be possible to simply drop in a h22a vtec engine? im curious because i really want to do this and chuck a turbo on it :D

@EviLxWiLLxPrEvAiL you know if you go on wikipedia and look up the prelude and look at the SI trim which has an h23 engine and although the H23A1 engine doesn'tt have VTEC, its lower compression makes it capable to handle a turbo application reliably without any modifications to the motor.

@orozcoluis09 hmm true that ay. so in other words if i was to try drop in a h22a into a honda prelude si.. there would have to be other modifications to be done for the turbo to be fitted? cuz atm im on my p's so turbo's wont be coming for another year or two yet.. but just seeing which engines are easier and cheaper to work with.. must say i love the h22a vtec engine though.. lol

@EviLxWiLLxPrEvAiL now that i dont know. i never looked into that because i used to own a prelude si and i purposely got that one because my mechanic said he would be able to slap the motor on the h23 no problem. because if u put an h22 on a prelude si its still the same h22 and it still has the same compression so it would most likely still need mods to chuck a turbo on it

If you want speed, get a motorcycle. There are more to sports cars then power. Its about style and custom work, You buy a Ferrari for style. 250k dollars for something that can get smoked by a bike I paid 10k for is a "waste" So next time you wanna talk speed and hate on any car(Not just preludes) for being "slow" or "weak" remember compared to a well tuned bike, no "car" has a chance, quit being pussies and ride a bike, then you can experience what real speed is.

@superveggito2000 first off a bike doesnt handle better than a car. second, try driving your bike while i smoke u in the rain, snow, gravel, mudd. yea bikes are cool cause i own one. but dont compare a car to a bike. Btw my Evo (obviously not stock) walks 600s all day. and i kno a couple of supras and some other evos that will walk my R1.

@superveggito2000 Yes. but if you want comfort, live where weather will make or break a trip somewhere, you'd prefer a car like this. I'd love to get a bike when the money comes around, but vermonts a rough place in the winter for bikes.
