Itoi-san once said that his worst nightmare was to find out that his own family was evil. and apparently there was going to be a boss after this fight in which you fight lucas's worst nightmare as it torments him for the death of claus. I might be wrong but It proves how much empathy you can feel for the characters of the series, even if they are of purest evil. There isn't any other game series that generates these types of emotions so the mother series is something very special and unique.

1st, this game came out in like 2002-2003 fable II came out in 2008..thairs been a big graphical update in the console era 2ed. fable II is on a the xbox 360 which has 500 MHz graphics capabliaty or even more ( i might be wrong ) and this MOTHER 3 is on the gamboy which has ither 16-32 bit ghrapics...thars BIG diffrence... and another thing before i go... the gameboy series has sold over 170 MILLION copies worldwide making it the best selling handheld on the gaming market... making that 10x -

I've played a few SMT games, primarily the PS2 incarnations: DDS, Nocturne, and persona, and although they are much harder than M3, M3 is by no means a cake walk. Random encounters that can actually damage your party? Check. Bosses that provide more thought than randomly mashing the A button? Check.

Earthbound versus Mother 3 is left for another argument, but compared to more mainstream RPGs, Mother 3 is definitely a bit more difficult.

Uh, no. I was level 49 for my first time with the final boss. Don't make baseless assumptions.

I've played Mother 3, and it was one of the easiest RPG's I've ever played.

Random encounters don't do much at all. Take advantage of weaknesses and you're set. And no game have I ever played where you can win battles by mashing A, without grinding. Not even Final Fantasy Mystic Quest.

Want to know what makes this game easy? Buffs, Debuffs, and taking advantage of the scrolling HP system.

It's pretty easy. I fight every enemy that I see. That's the rule of non-random battle RPGs, if you do that, then you won't be underleveled. I didn't even do that the first time through, and I didn't find Mother 3 hard.

Music combos doesn't make the game easy. Buffs and Debuffs do. It's obvious? Yes. Is it true? YES.

Why make a point if it isn't even true even when you exagerate it?

Do I need to say it again? Grinding isn't fighting everything I see. Grinding is consistently fighting in the same area for levels. Go check it up on Urban Dictionary, (page two, number 12. Avoid all the other ones, if you know what I mean >_>).

Mother 3 is easy, it's either you aren't good at the game, I'm too good at the game, or, your definition of easy is different than mine. Mine is never dying, even once, during a normal playthrough. Mother 3 fills that description for me.

Mostly because the feeling up to the fight was... epic.

The world is destroyed, all but 20 of the remaining people have hope, and "climb" Kefka's Tower to come face to face with the ultimate ruling God of the world. You fight his minions, (Based off of Dante's "Inferno"), and Kefka descends to face you for the fate of the world.

I would forget about challenge myself. Mother 3's Final Battles are even easier!
