Sovereignty implies rights and obligations, and that Sri Lankan state have a basic responsibility to protect its citizens from genocide and mass atrocities. No government has the right to use national sovereignty as a shield behind which it can murder its own people. The challenge for the world community is not only to state this principle, but to implement it!

My Tamil blood boils ! How can we account for this kind of Barberic act ! This is not the Tamil people ! This is Barstead LTTE ! Is this what we supported this regime for ? The time has come to appologize to the rest of the SriLankans for all the mis judgements made by the foolish people who funded and supported these butchers ! Some tamil factions will never admit to their error in Judgement ! But as a son of Tamil born in Jaffna , I hereby ask to be counted out !
