he's always enjoyed being provocative I think; it's a shame his live shows seem to go one way or the other, amazing or not so. I think Stewart Lee was a good grounding for some of his more insane moments, but he's still an awesome stand-up comic :) x
I'm sitting here all proud of myself for getting the hubris jokes 'cause i had to learn what it meant for AS level English Lit, tch, and I thought all that shit would never be useful...
This is the first of his shows I saw live. I didn't laugh as much as I hoped I would. That's not to say that the show wasn't good. I just prefer Rich when he's not allowed to swear (i.e. on the radio) and goes into his 'immature' mode.
Christ - Richard's sets have gotten stronger and stronger. This is fantastic. The material is so strong. Can't wait to get my hands on a copy of the DVD! It's ages away though!!
Sorry to potentially be repetitive, but 2:00 is a Stewart Lee gag surely...

Its good that Richard Herring makes himself laugh. Otherwise his act would be a 100% failure.

this is amazing. but he should have worn a nicer suit for a filmed version.

Saw this in the Edinburgh festival, and it was an amazing show: smart, strangely thought provoking, but most of all amazingly funny!!

For anybody who's interested, Paul Putner plays a similarly-sized Hitler in Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle.

'Hitler Moustache' is the greatest stand-up comedy DVD I have ever watched. Thank you, Mr. Herring.

@bensisko3 You shouldn't be offended by this, that's one of the reasons he did it- there shouldn't be any connotations. It's facial hair.

Being German, no one should expect me to like that sort of thing.

Totally right about the third series of Little Britain - that was awful.
