Gosh I love Bea so much. I feel very emotional watching the clips of Bea and Angie together during Bea's final public appearance. You can see she's a bit frail bless her heart, and even though she was ill at this time she's still beautiful.
Truly a one of a kind legend. I miss her more than words can say :(
I do too. What a fun show that is. Even though it's been almost 20 years since that program ended, it's been a staple in fans' homes on the Lifetime channel and on DVD. I used to tape it off of Lifetime for years until the cable service was discontinued, and watched the tapes, then got the show on DVD. Since I now have the program on DVD, the tapes were thrown out due to poor quality.
I had taped that program off of Lifetime as well back in '05, but not every episode. Whatever episodes I had taped had been on tapes of Golden Girls and were pitched as well.
What a great funny and caring person. She never let her fame and notoriety go to her head. She was involved in many causes but when it came time to be funny she had it all. Maude and the Golden Girls were two shows she can be very proud of. Love you Bea!
Golden Girls holds a speical place in my heart, i use to watch it with my grandma when i was a little girl, i was 5 or 6 then and im 27 now, and i still watch it...wil always love the show!!
She was awesome....such comical timing and wit. I just love The Golden Girls....one of the best shows ever. I used to watch it when I was little and even now would rather watch it than most shows that are on today. Thanks for keeping us laughing Bea...you're a legend. Your talent is unmatched.
It's so nice and emotional to see Bea and Angela together. They were real Bosom Bodies for more than 60 years. Who can still assert having such a longtime friendship!
@DJETEBA Well, to be technical, more than 40, but that does not make the friendship any less powerful. Pictures from that event, as well as this footage, reveal Angela sort of lagging behind Bea a little bit, standing back and letting Bea be the central focus while bolstering her up and supporting her. I love them both dearly. If you can make it to New York by June 20th, see Angela in "A Little Night Music." Her talent is breathtaking.
i wish i could watch the interviews with all the girls from 1988, never saw this! Did anyone know where i can watch or view it?! It would make me really happy!
You are so right. Bea will be truly missed by the entertainment industry as well as her fans, but she and Estelle are making everyone laugh in Heaven. :)
i love her i love the golden girls & maude i will always love her :'( xxxx <3 xxxx <3

When I first read that Bea died, I just went numb. =( She was such an amazing actress. From Dorothy to the Fem-Bot, she was brilliant.

ET is the crappiest show on TV, it's a full hour of 50 minutes of promos and 10 min of actual footage.
