It's just not as funny as the crash scenes in the original... It's kind of a stupid set up in this movie too... The old "men working" type construction zone thing is sooo lame. And then all the cops just slam into some barrier.

Not like in the original when a cop tries to cut them off, they make a sharp turn and all the other cops end up running into the car that tried to block. Plus the lead up scenes were taken a lot more seriously. It's like a parody of the original in this movie!

I know the movie is poking fun at cops and it IS a hilarious scene! Mythbusters proved that if a car hits a 45 degree ramp, such as the Brothers did in this scene, the car would come down on its grille and push the engine into the the cars cabin and render it useless to drive away. @losky1 depends on how it lands, ive jumped plenty of cars crazily and never has a problem with that. but I dont always listen to mythbusters, some of the car myths they do they need to use the same car, such as the break away axel in american graffiti, if they used that car, that would happen, but they used to new of a police car with more reinforcing than the one in the movie ever dreampt of having.,

Every time you see a shot at the very front of the pile-up, and you see a car and think "Well, that one might still continue the chase", a new car comes and lands EXACTLY on that exact car... Such an awesome movie!!!
