@ytfjordan No, you can't. It has to be done in either MP1 or MP2. However, she never entered her Battle Phase before doing so. She merely wiped most of his field clean with Harpies Hunting Ground and Icarus Attack.

it wasn't really a lockdown: if u activate any card, he negates it, but he only can negate once, so after that u can activate anything without a problem.

eh wrong!!!,then Apex Avian can negate ANYTHING SO LONG HE HAS MIST VALLY CARDS TO RETURN TO HAND.

wich basicaly mean that he can use the effect infinity cause:

The ohter mist vally monster has the ability to specal summon itself ever when it is return to the hand so apex negate the card then return the monster so the monster is back to field and ape negate again and there are not many ways to do somthing about that.

I like this video because the Birdman uses Mist Valley an archetype that I dont really see in Yu-Gi-Oh nowadays. And he uses it pretty well. It kept me entertained. I mean what happened to yugioh. Nowadays their are like three main archetypes that everybody uses: Lightsworn, Blackwings, and Elemental Heroes. I remember when people used variety when building decks. Now its just, I Special Summon a million Blackwings, or I obliterate you with JD, or I summon beatstick Neos Alius.

Nah, there are plenty of deck types out there. What about Tengu plants, Scraps, Six Samurai, Gravekeepers, Gladiator Beasts, and so on and so forth? My main deck is Jurracs, and it does rather well. I even slaughtered a guy yesterday who was playing a very effective Mist Valley/Gusto deck.

Mist Valley Falcon and Dark Simorgh are my two favorite cards so I'll always play them the best I can, if that Birdthing used Big Bang Shot's to remove from play all the Herpes he would have won from that barbiething by the way =)

You did a misplay. Harpie's Pet Baby Dragon was destroyed by Bottomless, so he wouldn't have been in the grave to remove for Simorgh's summoning cost.

Although if I remember correctly there's a Harpie's Queen in the grave, so you could've removed it instead. :P

@DarthZorgon I did. Sorry but you are the one who should rewatch. He summoned Veiler, synched for Vortex, destroyed Harpie Queen, ENDED his turn. His next turn, Vortex attacked, was destroyed because of Mirror Wall, he Special Summoned Scared Crane. Special Summoned Garuda, tributed the 2 monsters for Apex Avian. There is no way Veiler and Apex Avian were summoned the same turn. Just saying, even if the duelists aren't perfect, Xteven probably wouldn't let a misplay like 2 normal summons slip.
