  • I agree, Jemma Rix is the best and Lucy Durack

  • @Weffa1998 I have to agree with the breathing thing for Idina, but i cut her a bit of slack because she has asthma, but still she is only loved so much because she is the origional elphaba

  • i personally LOVED Jemma, but found that Lucy was a bit... annoying

  • just saw wicked in brisbane tonight they had the stand in lucy playing elphabal she was really good

  • it's like i'm back in the theatre again. saw it at the capitol as well.

  • Jemma is the best Elphaba EVA! She just is elphaba! and Lucy is awesome also!

  • Anyone know where I can find Amanda Harrison's version?

Dont get me wrong, Ive seen them both and theyre both amazing :)

  • Jemma Rix is, and always will be, my favourite Elphaba (:

  • To be honest, I like the lower second "bring me down".

I personally feel that it adds a touch of sorrow or defiance to the song. Her "regular' version is perfectly fine, but it sounds more like a popsong if anything.

  • Her second "bring me down" surprised me.

Usually her "me down" is more raised, but this time it's as if she couldn't/didn't reach it.

It still sounded wonderful, but I was surprised, seeing as every other recording I've heard has the same "bring me down"'s.

  • @BlazedHearts I agree with you! I actually like it when Elphabas use that type of down like in this vid.

  • @charmed1115 It depends who it is, really. Jemma Rix has a consistent higher-pitched "bring me down" for her second "down".

Dee Roscioli on the other hand has a wonderful, lower second "bring me down".

  • @BlazedHearts Yea.
