I remember getting this when it was first released. It came on 4x 3.5" HD floppy disks and I thought, wow this game must be huge! I could only ever beat the game if I went Atreides since in the final battle going Harkonnen or Ordos meant facing the Atreides sonic tanks!

Kind of ironic that some of my favorite strategy games as well as some of the most popular take place in the past (antiquity, medieval era, colonial era) while the game that started it all is a sci-fi
