  • Fed my iguana strawberry carrot and leaves mix. He loved it :D use strawberries as the key

  • 1:00 yup, exactly...

they're kinda like modern day dinosaurs...

  • @TheLiZabe89 Weird enough, birds are actually modern day dinosaurs rather than lizards. The lizard is just a living cousin of a dinosaur.

  • My iguana never walked on water.

  • @insaneangelstudio Basilisks walk on water, not iguanas..

  • @Ellron23 errr, no, according this *iguanas* walk on water, baby ones at least.... maybe you should get your facts straight before you start correcting people.

  • i want one of those lol :D

nice iguana by the way :D

  • This vid has some good ass editing :)

  • Oh none taken at all.

And I am aware of the fact that there are people constantly releasing Iguanas into the wild just like sea turtles into the ocean.

But, it just seems pointless because Iguanas are nowere near extinction.

  • Me and my green iguana are watching this together right now. :3

  • when i grow up i want to start an iguana farm, and breed hundreds of them per year to release into the wild to keep these guys from becoming extinct i have a pet iguana but i dont support the pet trade because they are usually abandoned or they dont recieve the proper care. i love these animals

  • @iguanaman07 Why would you do that?

that would ruin the natural ecosystem. Iguanas may have a hard life but some other animals rely on eating iguanas.

this would simply ruin a natural occuring survival of the fittest..aka natural selection.

  • @crimsonmonkey humans hunting and breeding iguanas only to eat them isnt part of natural selection though is it? i dont want to harm the ecosystem there is abundant plant life so more iguanas wouldnt be a problem it would just be like putting back what was once there i would understand where youre coming from if it was per say crocs or leopards but there is more than enough plant life and not nearly enough iguanas because of us. do you still disagree?

  • @iguanaman07 I still completely disagree.

Humans mess up many things but, ecosystems have adapted to it.

Sure there is alot of plant life in the ecosystem but letting more and more iguanas loose would just end up in over population of them.

The jungles are flourishing in plant life for other species. Hunting and eating Iguanas has been a tradition for many cultures for hundreds of years. The ecosystem adapts to it. Look at chickens..or cows.. it happens and will always happen.

  • @iguanaman07

The jungle is very delicate..releasing iguanas would just ruin it. Humans have taken them away but the jungles are constantly at an equillibrium. It would just end up in over population like big horn sheep in British Colombia.

  • @crimsonmonkey i guess youre somewhat right but i mean thats what animal conservation is all about dont worry i would do my research and try my best to do everything and well yeah but i dont want iguanas to end up like cows or chickens i dont want them to be domisticated that would suck your entitled to your opinion but let me tell you im there's people already doing this now and they have been doing it for a long time nothing goes wrong thats how i know youre wrong but no offense

  • its funny how baslisks are the liards known for walking on water all though igs can do it too but its funny how that was their defense against the baslisk since baslisks are famous for walking on water

  • AWESOME! i can imagine the Iguana's saying at 7:49 "SUCKER"

  • My son had an Iguana but when he turned 16 it came to me. I spent over 15 years with that Lizard.. bowing to his every wish.. almost. He was always healthy and happy and loved me and taught me.. all creatures are valuable. But they belong in their natural environment.. just as we do. RIP my dearest Earl Bob and bless you that let me see videos of other Iguanas..!!!

  • @asics38 he needs to eat fresh Mustard leaves and collard leaves, grapes and other fruit... but to stimulate him... warm some frozen green peas.. see if he eats them.. most love them but don't keep feeding just that ... litlte by little find something he likes and add the mustard.. cut green beans, collard leaves..alfalfa sprouts, etc. then read online.. or search "Feeding Green Iguanas"
