Oh, frosty-faced seniors just stole my heart! I'm biased, though, because I have several of those at home, and my Penny looks much like Ms. November. Two of my three are rescues, including Penny. They're the absolute BEST!

@AdrienneAce Thanks for the comment! You are right, CTDR.org does rock. They have found homes for 73 dogs so far in 2010. The volunteers are amazing. I love the snowy muzzled seniors as well. Thank you for rescuing dachshunds too. Wish I could see a photo of Penny!

@Verysupercool I'd love for you to see her, too, but I'm sorry to say that my Penny hasn't yet appeared on YouTube; however I have uploaded 2 videos of my other dogs. One is a short little video of them howling and singing and the other is a memorial to my youngest guy, Willy, whom we lost in April. I'd love it if you'd watch and leave your comment! It's called LOVING TRIBUTE TO WILLY. My best to you!

We love Dachshunds. Two minis are sitting on the couch as I watch this both rescue. One of my rescue Dachshunds lived 23 years. I will always have a Dachshund.

Great calendar and great pics.  I recently adopted an older rescue dachshund. He's 14, wears a doggie diaper, and he's the best!

Wiener dogs + costumes = awesome. We fostered a neglected dachshund for 9 months and eventually got him into a house with a farm with another dog. I can't imagine how much better his life is now. If you're thinking about helping DO IT! It's great!
