  • Interesting to see the place my great-grandfather came from. Beautiful place, but not much to earn a living at in the 1870s I suppose.

  • hehehe, that's Norway. It's true, most of the roads are terrible. As if they are leading to someone's garden. They are just the best in telling how they have the "best of everything" in the world, but from my experience, they are just being proud of nothing.

  • Great video !

I already upload a video driving thru my town with trance/electro if you wanna check & rate =)

    Regards from Mexico 5*

  • This is a wonderful video of simply driving through a country I've never been to. It inspires me to finally visit Norway.

  • You should do this vid in wintertime.. ;)

  • Tnx !! Nice

  • brings back memories of my norway-northcape-lofoten-journy :)

  • stairway to heaven fits more to the video ;D

  • Hei! Mukava nähdä jo vähän "unohtuneita" maisemia. Olin tuolla 3 vuotta sitten, ilma oli tosin vähän huonompi. Ehkä tänä kesänä uusiksi :-)

  • Hilsen fra Oslo

  • There should be a walk-way for the safety of the pedestrians. If you had kept a little more distance, you would see more than just the back of the bus.

And it is more relaxed driving for yourself.

The newly opened section of the E10 that connects to the mainland. Is that a toll-road? Do you have to pay for both directions?

    How much is the fee?

  • Yes, I am going to spend one summer week on Lofoten islands in 2008 when solid road connection is finally true.

I am definitely sorry for poor quality of this highly compressed video. I will bought a new video editing programme into future Vista OS PC computer.

  • Dont have to pay on the new connection. U can drive from Sweden to Å without spending money on ferries or tollboths.

  • @2nguyen2:

Heheh - you are not from Norway, are you? This is way out there, where the roads were built long ago with VERY tight budgets (Norway was rather poor then), so no walkways. If you want to use a car there, get used to the pedestrians. ;-)

  • cool! i've been there this summer - i remember that road very well. it's fantastic driving the whole E10 from Sweden to LOfoten, watching it turn narrow and tricky)) on the islands
