At 0:23 when Alfie bows his head as Valjean prays for Fantine, and probably for help in rescuing Cosette, just grabs my heart. Then again at 1:11 as Javert sings ".. a man such as you." Valjean's pain at knowing he will always be despised and feared. It's those small gestures that give life to the character. Even in a concert setting Alfie did a wonderful job.

I LOVE how he goes up on 'i am warning you javert!' at 1:33 aposed to staying on the same note for 'you javert'.

That transition from Fantine to Javert gave me chills haha. My dad was friends in high school with Norm. Very nice job. Wish i coulda been there.
