the interviewer in this video is asking personal questions he shouldn't ask. stick to asking how she reverted, and what is islam for her today and what she would suggest others who are seeking the truth. thats all!! this man could be questionned on the day of judgement for some of these questions which can be deemed as very personal for some people.

doesn't the Sunnah of our Prophet (sal-Allaahu alayhe wa sallam) teach 'love for your brothers what you love for yourself', so this is naseehah, you should also worry that your brother and sister in Islam may be questionned for certain things. barak Allaah fik

You are right on that. But i would like to point out a thing or two..

If both the interviewer and the sister's hearts are united would you think she would have a problem? They are both trying to put a message accross which would insha allah benefit many...

Did you listen to the full clip? the message should be about Islam, not about her personal life.

Hearts being united is not sufficient. Didn't Ibn Mas'ood (radiy Allaahu anhu) say '"How many there are who intend good but do not achieve it.". In order for an act of worship to be accepted, it must fulfill two conditions. 1. Sincerely for the sake of Allaah (in this case let's assume they are doing that). 2. According to the Authentic Sunnah (no!). One w/out the other is futile.

@dqoy I actually see the interview in a different. The brother was asking her questions that will insha allah help others in situations such as these or even muslims who are born into a muslim family. The questions he asked are not something that people think about or adress. Every 1 jus wants to knw a beautiful story of ppl got attracted to islam etc. etc. etc.

Every1 has der opinion on things n u might not agree wid wat i say. But lets not argue on this..
