  • Its also nicer to loose money to someone youre friendly with at the table, so he probably picks up more calls on his value bets.

    Other players like Tony G, Hellmuth, Matusow, seem to make players dislike them so that players fold more (because they know theyll be humiliated verbally if theyre behind at the showdown) allowing more bluffs.

  • ummm, they don't bully so people fold more. They bully so people make mistakes in general. Folding may be a mistake.

  • Great example of Daniel trying to get everyone at the table off their game: Make them think about the German number system instead of Poker. Brilliant. He does it in such a nice friendly way that most are unaware, as he drags in the pot. Most EU players are not used to table banter.

    yeah, german is such awkward in everything, in german you put a verb (or a subject, i dont remember what exactly) in the end of the sentence. such awkward language. not to say about the pronunciation.. damn i dont want to learn german, but i kinda have to..

  • @zsolttuser True. Although there is no real "law" that prescribes how to write it, MCMXCIX is by far the most common way. Although in ancient Rome for instance MCMXCVIIII would be totally acceptable as well.
