Lisa, you've seen the comments about edited vs. live footage, but it's much more. Bruce, Andrea, and Orlando covered your song. Drew and Kata covered your presence. The song is nice, you should be very proud; but in the hands of #4, #2, or #1, it is just one more nice song out of a million. Angel is not a hit because it is nice; it is a hit because of the rawness, the power, the urgency that you bring to it. Only #5 and #3 came close to that. Only Kata really pulled it off in her own way.

i love all the renditions. However i would also like to point out that everyone that got chosen were people who could afford to alter or enhance their vids. Its pretty disappointing, I think the Country girl was far more unique and original with minimal technical intervention. She even played the guitar flawlessly while singing. I would just like to see people who have talent w/o all the extra's If they cant do it without them then they are not really achieving the goal of being the best.

honestly, i don't think it was a fair playing ground. Drew and Kata both had raw, unedited videos, which i applaud and i think they deserved it. the other ones were good too, but its not fair really, because they have the money and computer skills to edit and change their voices and videos. people that don't have that luxury can't compete with that.

@fakinglights Yeah, thats what I thought as well. But life is never fair. Competitions should all be fair though. Everyone should have taped their peformance live on the same instrumental as hers so they would have to sing it like her song. I thought that was the competition. Its nice to hear the song slowed down but its not the same. You dont have to get the rhymes down at the same speed when its slower. If I slowed my ending down, the higher note wouldve sounded way better! :)
