Im intrested in what leads you to this conclusion. mine does differ slightly but im keen to see another perspective to the light. My hypothisis is based on the fact that they are using a super feral fluid to rotate at close to the speed of light due to the fact that superfluids show close to 0 resistance.This affect may cause anti gravity affect. They have the lift but they dont have direction. Would it be plusable that the light is used as thrust and stabilising. I could deeper.

I think many of these things dwell in space and are not necessarily beings wanting to investigate us. The same way jelly fish live in the sea. These beams of light live in space feeding off electrical storms and such. The ones that look like sophisticated spacecraft are likely a hoax or a reasonable explanation can be found. I dont believe these space entities have any interest in humans just like a blue whale wouldn't. They are like conscious balls of light energy feeding off energy to survive
