Amybb2K, there is a treatment called EPI-743 for intestinal use that is in clinical trials (you can find it on clinicaltrials.gov) there is another treatment being developed for IV use by the Mitochondrial Disease Program at the Lucile Packard Children's Hosptial & Stanford University. The program is being run by Dr. Greg Enns who also has a hand with EPI-743 as well. We are raising funds for the Mito Program to further the treatments. How old is your son?
