  • I'm planning a solo vacation after Easter and ooked it after Easter. I kno I'm gpoing to have a good time. The tour looks great.

  • Do you know when the pool's slide is shut down at night?

  • great video ! i have a question. Are room types in a certain area, like for example, all king beds are in Cabanas etc... And also which area is better. Im going with my mom in March :) Thanks !

  • @alisonlandry87 Thank you for the question. I can only tell you from my own experience, the times we stayed in a king were in the Cabanas section. We have stayed in a king twice and queens once. The queens were in Ranchos, and queens are also spread throughout all areas of the resort.

My favorite, so far, has been the Cabanas section as it was in between the main building (for the restaurants) and the Dig Site (for the pool).

Hope you have a wonderful time with your mom in March!

  • Hey, thanks for this video. My wife and I will be going to DisneyWorld and staying here in a couple of months. The room you filmed looks like the one we will be staying in. Looks cold too! If you don't mind answering, what month did you film this?

  • @HorrorAdventures The portion in the car (very beginning) was filmed February 2010. The rest was filmed in January 2011.

    Thanks!

  • @TheInfoMouse Thanks for the reply, we are hoping it won't be too crowded right before Christmas. :)

  • How often do the buses run from the hotel to the parks

  • @stripystripysocks Thanks for the comment! The buses run approximately every 20 minutes to each park.

  • @TheInfoMouse Oh thats good, and Thanks!

  • @stripystripysocks Anytime!

  • @the info mouse I miss it too on the ride home in the car! I've stayed here before it is nice. Last time I stayed at Disney was December 2009 we stayed at French Quarter (the last time I WENT to Disney was December 2010. I love Disney!!!

  • @newsfanatic1000 Thanks for the comment! I loved staying at this resort! I'm excited to try some different ones too, but this one will always feel special to me :)

  • It's been 8 years since I stayed at Coronado Springs...I loved this resort! If I go back to Disney World, I'm definitely staying here!!

  • Going to be there end of July. It will be my first stay at a Disney Resort. :)

  • @SuperKDot Awesome! I hope you have a wonderful time! Let me know if you have any questions at all, I've stayed there 14 nights.

  • @TheInfoMouse Would you recommend any of the restaurants on site?

  • @SuperKDot Just at Coronado Springs or at Disney World in general?

  • @TheInfoMouse I was just meaning Coronado Springs, but now that you mention it, any other restaurants in Disney World that I should keep my eye out for?

  • @SuperKDot At Coronado Springs, we ate at the Pepper Market twice and Cafe Rix once. Both were pretty good, although I've heard mixed reviews about the Pepper Market. As far as the rest of Disney property, we've had good luck with Boma (African buffet at Animal Kingdom Lodge), Teppan Edo (Japan Pavillion at Epcot), and Yachtsman Steakhouse (delicious, but expensive, steakhouse located in the Yacht Club).

  • @TheInfoMouse Thank you so much for your help. :) I will give Pepper Market a try and definitely Teppan Edo because I love Japanese cuisine.

  • @SuperKDot You're welcome! I hope you have a wonderful time on your trip!

  • I am going to Cornado in about 2 1/2 weeks. We stayed at Port Orleans - Riverside last time we visited Disney World and really enjoyed ourselves. Which area of Coronado do you prefer to stay in: Cabanas, Casitas, or Ranchos? I know that none of them are closer to El Centro and the Dig Site so I am wondering if there are any preferences.

  • @mdoss11 We've stayed in the Ranchos and Cabanas sections. Ranchos was nice & quiet being out of the way, but we preferred the Cabanas section as it was nestled in between the Dig Site and El Centro. Ranchos was the furthest section away from El Centro. If you're on the dining plan, I would recommend staying close to El Centro, in the Casitas or Cabanas section.

  • I stayed at the Coronado Springs last summer and I loved it!!!!

I would totally stay there again!

I miss Disney World so much, and hope to go back soon!

  • @SoUThnkUCnDnc Thanks for the comment! Glad to hear that you had a good time :)

  • I have had the pleasure of staying at this resort and had a wonderful time.

  • God this makes me miss going to disney world so much, me and my family used to go every year, but that stopped about 6 or 7 years ago, we always went to Coronado springs and this makes me miss it sooooo much! I just want to go back and relive all my childhood memories!

  • @jjj5541 Why did y'all stop going? I start to miss it on the car ride home almost.

  • @TheInfoMouse , I think it had to do a lot with the gas money, we live in north georgia so it took about 10 hours to get there. And my dad didn't want to have to deal with flying.

  • I can honestly say, we are debating strongly between Coronado Springs and Pop Century for our next family vacation! We have stayed at Pop before and we loved it (and so did our 2 kids)....the pools, the decor, the dedicated buses; made for a lovely vacation last time.

But with that said, I am highly tempted to go with Coronado next time because of the room size, fridge, and the beautiful decor and landscaping.

It's gonna be a hard decision since we do love our Pop Century! :)

  • @Syst3merror Tough decision! If your kids like to swim, the pool area at Coronado Springs is great! I've never tried Pop but hope to stay there someday.

  • @Syst3merror I've stayed at Pop before, and I plan on staying at Coronado Springs. I love Pop Century a lot! It's tough, but you should try a new resort (i.e. Coronado). It's Disney, so it's sure to be fine no matter where you stay!

  • @sarapeps lol I'm sure Coronado would be fine but my wife and kids really did enjoy Pop Century and want to stay there again! This will be our last Disney trip for many years so we will probably just stay where we know we like. :)

  • Good resort Davis Family was here in 2009 had a great time.

  • This is our absolute favorite of the moderate resorts! Welcome home. Hope you had a great time! Watching this vid made me reeeeeeally miss it again!

  • Leave a comment with your experience at Coronado Springs Resort...

Feel free to ask any questions, we have stayed there twice and just returned...
