ALL Chargers should be green. My '69 was originally this shade,it's more of a medium green now.If it gets paint I'm going F8 green like my Dad's 70 4 speed R/T.Awesome car dude,I dig it.The only downside to owning one is how people will have to talk crap.I can immediately tell the haters, they mention the rust spots and bring up gas mileage..I'm quite aware of how hard you could smoke 'em too, tell them to buy the tires!Mo-Power to ya brother!
@polabexar - Cool Dude ! I'd love to see the burnout. I have a '89 D150 with 240K miles on it, once the little 318 finally dies, I want to put a 440 in it.
Thanks for the compliment on the wheels. I ran out of cash and had them sitting around, so it just made sense to use them. Maybe down the road, I'll put something else on it.
you clearly dont know how to burn out...u need to press the brake and gas after u pop clutch....why do u wait till u roll back before u pop the clutch, your not in a honda, im sure this has plenty of power to do it standing still
Back in 1969, when they made it, they didn't ask me what color to paint it. In 1982, I was so thrilled to get a 440 4spd car, I really didn't care what color it was. Today, I wouldn't change a thing. We have a history together, true car guys understand. I hope one day, you'll have that same experience. Maybe, if you're lucky, your car will be a color you like.
@R669charger Beautiful color, check my page for my cars color. Great yr too, I just pulled a 440 out of my RV, 65K miles. I am having thoughts of a 440 in a 68 mustang. Again nice car.
I didnt see any children watching your burn outs... If I had my car running, I'd be smoking the tires too.. just for fun : ) oh yeah and for the children...but I would try to have at least a couple kids around to wach if I used that one for a good excuse to fire up the tires... car sounds great have a good one !!

@chris12123212 - lighten up Francis. I was just playing around, it's not meant to be the worlds best burnout.

He might have smoked the tires longer if buying a new set of tires wasn't so expensive. A charger is a charger no matter the color.
Stitchez816 1 year ago
@Stitchez816 Amen to that, those suckers are about $130 each.
R669charger 1 year ago
@R669charger Yeah tell me about it. It's hard to get one tire let alone two after spinning the tires to much.

It's always for the children. Jay Leno made that very clear when he made his '70 Hemi Challenger video.
