I saw T Model live some years back in my hometown, and 20 Miles (Judah Bauer from JSBX and his brother)warmed up for him. T Model himself sat on a chair, plonked on a cheap looking electric guitar, sang wonderfully, sipped whisky inbetween songs.Drummer Spam lost a stick or two every once in awhile, didn't affect him much, wonderful guy!I asked mr.Ford afterwards about the rumour of him killing a guy years ago,and he said with a serious face;"it was nessessary",then we both burst out laughing!Hmmm...
Does anybody know the name of the song at 0:56? I have always wanted to meet T Model since he is probably the only idol I have that is still alive... I love his style and for not starting until he was 58 with only one ball now that's just amazing...
Its a little tough to make out 100% since its a short live clip, but I'm pretty sure its "T-Model Theme Song" from my personal favorite 'Pee Wee Get My Gun'
@Igotdablues I got to meet him when he came and played a show in Charlotte NC recently. It was amazing, he really lights up a room. He is such a sweet and talented old man.
This is from a great documentary called "You See Me Laughin". Check it out if you can.

Cracks me up to see an old bluesman picking on what essentially looks like a heavey metal axe!
