  • safety first before features....

  • wow " 3.3 liter flex-fuel capable 4 speed transmission" and hes the lead engineer haha

  • I've been in the car business for 12 years now and the sadist thing I've learned is that there's an ass for EVERY seat and you can't tell them a thing, nor can they read a Consumer Report! So the idiot that buys this van will hate it due mostly to chronic problems, trade it off for nothing, buy another pos American brand and the cycle continues on and on...

    Thanks for the response-

  • dodge is bettter who made the frist van dodge

  • @andrewantblazer10 Ever heard of a VW Micro van?

  • These guys are NOT from this planet, they are just salesmen reading from script cards on a golf course where they spend most of their time. No wonder even Fiat washed their hands of them! Now go and buy yourself an Odyssey or Sienna and be proud of the fact you made the right choice!!!

  • @Mrphatbastard1 I really wish car companies would give a shit about the consumer and the products they sell instead of, as you said "reading from the script. Customer retention doesn't come from shipping out a car that looks good, it also has to be one that LASTS. You hear that Chrysler? LASTS...

  • my friend bought a brand new dodge caravan and his front wheel bearings went after 20K km

  • @MrTakosSuprim dude tell him to get the town and country

  • @MrTakosSuprim It's a good thing he noticed it before the front wheel fell off.

  • I could've tell you that all american vehicles are garbage the only to go is Japanes.

  • This guy is a liar I own a 2010 town & country and is a piece of shit compered with a 2009 durango The steering is way harder than a normal front wheel drive car. The van make so many noises because the structure is fragil and the engine eats fuel as a small v8 (4.0L) and the tranny 6 speed but it only really uses 4

  • @jmmatanzo If your not upside down in your loan, make sure it's insured, drive it into a field and set fire to it like a lot of frustrated do, then get yourself a Sienna or an Odessy and be happy with the fact that this time you made the right choice!

  • owned 89,94,97,2001 No problems My fav of the big Three, Look on the street there is a winning reason there are so many.

  • 9:45 Normal steel has a yield strength of 10ksi? What are they using, reinforced paper? What the hell is this guy talking about?

  • Still have our 12 year old Grand Caravan with about 150000 miles. LOTS of problems occured within a month after the warranty period, and dealership service was non existent. However, nothing really happened in between, but we still have the original engine and transmission. Body is a rust- happy nightmare these days! Really, Chrysler did make good cars for its day, but now, I don't even think they have a single good car in their line-up. Definitely my least favourite of the Detroit big 3.

  • The guy with the mustache is so mono tone... he should shoot himself.

  • Your engine suck and your paint sucks.

  • searched: caravan lemon and it gave me all I needed to know,.. I see a woman with kids and a dog and a company that doesn't care. all about money not quality... my caravan is no better,.. 2006 and up to $3500 in repairs uncovered by a premium warranty.

  • dude american cars besides chevy actullay dont care bout safety. the safety on it is standard

  • I've never owned a chrysler product, I love my Honda :)

  • Our minivan is just over a year old. Zero issues so far. Never had a new car go that far without something needing a repair. Even the Toyota. The EPA is up a little on the 4.0 in '09. The 4.0 is awesome. FAST.

  • Haha the only reason im replying is because im bored but i found a new vid. so see ya:)

  • And recently said Ford and GM cant keep up with Chrysler's minivans so they will pretty much stop production after a while even thought Ford is gonna try again...and most likely fail. Pretty soon they will take out all the minivans completely.

  • so ur calling most of america morons? go buy a damn ford or chevy, either it wont matter, and see which lasts longer! we had a ford( a long lasting taurus) ya right it crapped out! we had a chevy truck! it had issues, so we bought a dodge, and hmmmm still works and our van has had no issues either!

  • your totally right dodge, chrysler, and jeep rock i love dodge huge fan of all cars see my channel

  • chrysler engines suck? they will last longer than a Ford! and thts a proven fact!

  • screw honda lets help our economy shall we?

  • yes!

  • screw you dude...lets help not being broke down on the side of the road shall we?

  • Ok if u dont wanna be stuck on the side of the road dont buy a Ford or Chevy simple as that. My van is kick ass it got in a wreck and hmmm still works as good as the day we bought it, as for a Ford or Chevy I doubt they can do the same.

  • hmm...wasnt planning on it

  • my first mini van was a 93 plymoth voyager, 5 speed manuel.

    Do they make mauel's ??

  • honda doesnt offer all row n go for a saftey reasons plus honda has the captain chairs the best van on the road it fact

  • the dvd screens should lower & raise electronically instead of having to strech out ur arm

  • get a honda

  • the honda doesnt offer all row stow n go. everybody wants to have all row stow n go

  • chrysler rules

  • HAHA

  • Wait, did he say 3.8L 197hp and 4.0L 251hp V6s? That's...weak. Chryslers own 3.5L produces 250hp. The 3.7L 5cyl. in my Mom's GM truck makes 242hp. That doesn't seem right.

  • As a general rule, a normally aspirated engine of the same displacement on a FWD platform will be less powerful than on a RWD platform.

  • Nah that's not it. I have a french mpv called Renault Grand Espace, it has a 3.5 V6 with 250 hp and it is FWD, there is no reason for it to be less powerfull.

  • @palebeachbum thats right, those engines suck that bad

  • they could all be made with better milage. Still back like since 1980's no change come on whats the problem not 1 company has figured that out. Till then i will wait.

  • wonder if it comes like that from the factory at 7:45? Wouldnt surprise me due to Mopar's poor quality for cars. Jeeps are well built but thats it for anything good for Mopar. The cars look good but quality is still under par.

  • electric doors are for lazy people who cant shut regular doors.

  • Well, based on that logic, keyfobs are for lazy people too. It's a convenience item and both come in handy at times. When its raining and you're running to the car, unlocking the doors by remote is better than standing in the rain fiddling to get the door unlocked. Or what about when your hands are full? I often see people use these more as a toy than useful feature (or sheer laziness), but they can be handy at times. Same goes for the power rear hatches.

  • hmm i got one of these today and it isn't as roomy as you would tink. ;

  • i love cars and vans so i want this van

  • did u get it?

  • awesome video. we are actually headed out to our local dodge dealer tomorrow and test driving a 2008 Dodge Grand caravan

  • how did it go?

  • did you get one?
