  • thumbs up !!

  • Awesome !

  • Loved the video. This is my first time checking out your channel and I really liked how you sped up certain segments. I wish YouTube had that as a built in feature on all videos.

  • cool

  • Awesome, I use long fishing pole and monopode for filming climbing and panoramic video. Works a bit as a steadycam too

  • hey, how did you get the waves to match up in that scene w/ two "you"s? lol

  • @DazHype feathered edge on the split screen

  • @Knoptop oh okay! thanks for the reply! you're cool dude!

  • did you ever make a vid on how to do that effect where there's 2 of you?

  • @Custom09 just a split screen edit

  • how do you make a the wind muff and were to put it

  • @778ironman1 i posted a video going over it, look for link in the description

  • Lol stuff, but maybe i will follow your idea... :))

  • LOL... your ears are freezing red at the end of the clip. :)))

  • Great tips. Fast film-making effects indeed! Keep them coming. : )

  • Hey guys no mean to spam but I have 2 different tutorials on how to add the camera shake in post

  • You can put a rope around your upper body (or lower, depending on the shot), balance two of the tripod legs on your lower body or, if sitting, on your knees, and fasten the rope on the tripod. that way, you have both hands free. Just make sure the rope can't be seen. you can use a jacket to conceal it if necessary.

  • lol muff

  • you should have as much views as indymogul......in fact more

  • @GamerSwag yea i like this more than indymogul...apprently for them cheap filmmaking is 100 dollars

  • Good tip. Thanks for the info. Info for the regular guy.

  • Haha Awesome Dave:xD

  • Dave you are a funny man....... but........entertaining and informative too. I'll be checking out your channel for more tips and laughs, cheers and i hope you check out my vid's and they put a smile on your face :))

  • I had a question on video editors. What do you recommend? Because I want to add muzzle flashes, so what editor should I use? The Magix Movie maker pro plus 17 is what I'm getting is that good enough?

  • Thanks for the tips. Love you channel too

  • this was funny. great idea too.

  • Why are you filming out in the freezing cold? Do you need my warm body to keep you hot? Mwahahahaha.

  • "BANAAAANAAANAAS BANAAAANAAANAAS "

  • Hulk head with guts and brains, I've got to get me one of those.

  • Dave, Great video and movie making tips as always! Hey, I think you should enter the YouTube Institute contest (^_-)-☆

  • Wow, that looks great! I never thought about doing something like that! Great work.

  • Great tip man, your quick tutorials are the best on youtube imho! I think that heater in your shop needs its own segment, its starting to gain a personality of its own. Dont take it out whatever you do, it gives ya credibility and lets us other utubers know your just a guy like us making films at home most of the time.

  • very nice tip! Im so trying this on my next video!

    THANKS man!

  • @mp4podcastDOTcom mpeg streamclip works wonders!!!!

  • I normaly have a camera guy, but for certain self filming situations, monopods are wonderfull. Ex: when I wanted to make my unicycling demo reel, I had no one to film do I gorilla taped my 4ft monopod to the post of my uni and it worked wonders...

  • AWESOME thanks!

  • thank you!

  • quite a useful camera effect, thanks for sharing knop

  • 5 bucks! I want one for $5.

  • why don't you shoot your vids on your t2i, or whatever DSLR that was in some of the other videos

  • @npetrie76 good question! well, currently I sold all my lenses and I'm waiting for the new ones, but despite that, personally, i like my 'videos' to look like videos so my 'films' will look more like films (shooting those on my t2i) and i've got some fun little short films coming sooon! stay tuned!

  • @npetrie76 Either way, the quality of content is far more important than quality of video :)

  • nice job!

  • A Pov camera

  • also, sweet effect

  • I have a small tip the 3rg Gen Flip from the U.K. is 50 frames so its good for film making because you can convert 50 frames to 25 frames and then 25 to 24 frames. Or maybe there is a easy way to just encode 50p to 24p?

  • @mp4podcastDOTcom Cool idea, have you tried it yet? I'm always having audio sync problems when I change frame rate.

  • @Knoptop No I have not tried it yet. but U.K. youtuber had the flip and he had no problems with it. His user name is chrisc74 he has some test footage on his channel. If you want that flip you can order it from Amazon uk.

  • sweet hulk!!!
