Bloodmyst was and still is my most favorite zone in WoW. Everything just looks and feels so awesome. The music, the colors all blended together so well. Maybe its because it was my first real experience playing WoW, but this is still my favorite zone in the game to this day.
I absolutely loved this area the first time I leveled a Draenei. Yea, it was terrifying and I had to constantly look behind my back to make sure that Blood Elf dude on the horse wasn't behind me, but it was so worth it. The whole mystical feeling to it, and the music... It was just haunting.
The whole zone is like a bad fever dream. Couldn't wait to get out of there leveling my dranaei....not complaining, mind you--but the whole look, feel and sound of the place just gets under your skin.
The draenai still have some of the best starting storyline, apart from the death knights, I think. I absolutely loved the epic concluion at the...what was it called? The Vector Coil? So exciting :)
It's the draneis backside story just like Blood elves, the floorish forests of Azuremyst which holds the main survivors meets the Bloodmyst isle, corrupted and destroyed beyond recovery thx to the vile exodus of the Dranei which led to the destruction of this specific isle, combined with natives and their "destructive" force on the isle, quite beautifull, the soundtrack is nice...except the first 10sec which sux lol
first time playing a dreanai LOVED Azuremyst Isle but I'll be honest, Bloodmyst FREAKED me out a bit all that crimson land and overly saturated plants... place was like a really bad trip!

This theme used to be in the raid instance of Tempest Keep (The Eye) as well. About midway through TBC Blizz replaced it with the current one.
Not sure which I liked more tbh. Both are fitting in their own way.
