CAL was ranked sixth in the MCLA at the time of the game. Their only loss was to Chapman.

alligator arms means that they don't have their arms extended and high and away. Instead they have their arms low and close to their bodies(alligators have short arms).

@bhsvideodad When you don't extend your arms and hang your stick back for maximum power on your shots. To keep your arms close to your body takes power away, and makes you look like an "Alligator" or "T-Rex" since they have small arms.
