One point I would like to make is this: most of these videos show the Empire or Rebellion vs. the Federation. What about the other races of Star Trek? The Klingons, Romulans, Gorn,Dominion, Borg, Tholians, Andromedans, etc.? Yes, I realize that some of those I mentioned were in this video, but my point is this, why limit these battles to just the Federation?
Who would win? I would bet on Empire cuz they got tens or hundreds of thousands capital ships, since they span a whole galaxy, and can get from one side to the other very quickly, unlike ST warp that would take well over a hundred years... Regarding weapons or defences, how could you compare them? Empire has no transporters, but has faster ships, no phasers, but has a superlaser that can destroy a planet... too damn diverse, but im betting on Empire only cuz of numbers and superior mobility...

Star Wars went more the fantasy route with little to no explanation of it's technology because it was more about faith in something larger than technology, the force. Star Trek tried to depict a possible future for where we are now and part of that is the expansion of our technology. A lot of it was pretty damn spot on in terms of its science, and the rest was MADE UP for the purpose of story telling.

That gives me an idea... what if you lift the picture of a flying, shooting starship from Star Trek and paste it into the Millenium Falcon's cockpit display, or something like that?
Pretty much all of the Star Trek fleet battles are in the last season of DS9, during the Dominion War. But that first shot when the fleet is just sitting there is the very last thing seen in the last episode of the sixth season. The crew has just abandoned DS9, and only the Defiant and the Rotarran make it out. They flee and regroup with the rest of the fleet.
I always wanted to do something like this using the Battle of Endor as a templet I wanted to have all the good guy's from a bunch of differnt sci-fi shows, movies, and anime join forces and duke it out with thire bad guy counter parts Runabouts, X-wings, F-302's, Vipers, and some stuff from Gundam all in formation would be so fucking cool. The Defiant and Falcon flying circles around the larger ships kicking major ass. Maybe have the delta flyer help take out the Death Star... one can dream.
Good work, I thought it was a cool idea to edit in the captains from all of the eras of Star Trek, but why no Ben Sisko or Janeway?

Who would win? I would bet on Empire cuz they got tens or hundreds of thousands capital ships, since they span a whole galaxy, and can get from one side to the other very quickly, unlike ST warp that would take well over a hundred years... Regarding weapons or defences, how could you compare them? Empire has no transporters, but has faster ships, no phasers, but has a superlaser that can destroy a planet... too damn diverse, but im betting on Empire only cuz of numbers and superior mobility...

In ENT, archer and phlox are perfectly happy to let a species die out because they don't want to interfere in 'nature'. Same goes for Janeway in many episodes. You precious federation peace ideal is a lie. Face it, Star Trek has had more wars in it than Star Wars ever has in it's movies/tv shows.

Wow...the comments here are just pathetic. It is all Science Fiction. All of it! Star Wars went more the fantasy route with little to no explanation of it's technology because it was more about faith in something larger than technology, the force. Star Trek tried to depict a possible future for where we are now and part of that is the expansion of our technology. A lot of it was pretty damn spot on in terms of its science, and the rest was MADE UP for the purpose of story telling.

BS is your post, I must say. ST would get fucked like an elephant smashing a mouse. One side builds moon-sized stations capable of turning a planet into an asteroid field, while the other consideres DS9 impressive, which is smaller than an average star destroyer. LOL
PS: Even a planet's magnetic field can block those shitty transporters, so there's no way in well they'll get past Wars shields which are litterally billions of times superior to Trek "shields."

Dyson sphere? The reace who built that is vanished, and it isn't even a threat. One shot from the Death Star would pack enough punch to destroy its stability and knock it into its sun.

More than put a hole in it, actually. The Dyson sphere's hull plating is so weak that even a collision with a shuttlecraft can damage it.
Just imagine what a superlaser blast from the Death S. would do...it would bring the whole structure to its demise. A single shot at a critical structural point & there goes the Dyson sphere.
PS: ST isn't any more realistic than SW, there both sci-fi if you haven't yet noticed.... LOL XD

The event with the phaser drilling was calced by others YEARS ago before you were probably born, by much smarter & more capable men than you will ever be. It only rates in kilotons, which is fucking PATHETIC since the turbolasers of a typical Wars destroyer rate TRIPLE DIGIT TERATONS.
And even then, Trek weapons use chain reaction BS to do work against rock: it's called NDF, and it's considered a cheat. Phasers compared to turbolasers are like a fart amid a hydrogen blast: basically crap.

I never said the tech in SW COULDN'T destroy a world. What I did say was that the ability to do so is limited to like one device (deathstar). ST has many.
And where did this energy calculation come from? Likely the same people who came up with the bogus energy numbers for SW in the first place.

Pretty much all of the Star Trek fleet battles are in the last season of DS9, during the Dominion War. But that first shot when the fleet is just sitting there is the very last thing seen in the last episode of the sixth season. The crew has just abandoned DS9, and only the Defiant and the Rotarran make it out. They flee and regroup with the rest of the fleet.

I always wanted to do something like this using the Battle of Endor as a templet I wanted to have all the good guy's from a bunch of differnt sci-fi shows, movies, and anime join forces and duke it out with thire bad guy counter parts Runabouts, X-wings, F-302's, Vipers, and some stuff from Gundam all in formation would be so fucking cool. The Defiant and Falcon flying circles around the larger ships kicking major ass. Maybe have the delta flyer help take out the Death Star... one can dream.
