I don't see any of the other candidates besides Gravel, Kucinich, and Paul addressing the issue of our government policies going the way of the highest bidder. Companies like Pfizer and Boeing have their R&D subsidized by the taxpayer and then resell their privately patented products back to the government often in the form of no-bid contracts. This is only one example of a business model that is hurting the US economy. Political sponsorship comes at a price.

Capitalism is not bad. It's only when there is no competition that it becomes so. A free market is one in which the people have a choice. In fact, socialized corporatism is what makes the system fascist.

Rons against universal healthcare controlled by the feds at a national level. The feds have no jurisdiction under the constitution to impose such system on the people. However, at a state level, if the states want universal healthcare, they have all the right to have such system. So if your state want universal healthcare, go at it, if not, you can move to a different state that employs it. Theres no need for the system to run across the nation.

Actually, since a universal health care system would "promote general welfare" it is well within the bounds of the constitution. I understand Rons point, but i think he misinterprets that part.
