The guy who played Ian and the girl who played Annik actually got married in real life...how uh...fitting I suppose.

I think the person who was hurt the most in the film besides Ian (of course) was his wife Debbie...I can totally relate to her. She loved him despite everything, gave him plenty of chances, and was hurt too many times. She even had a kid with him which was what was surprising. I do love JD but the movie totally changed what I thought of him (tho that doesn't mean I don't miss him)

He wrote some brilliant music and was in a brilliant band but his personal life was a hell of a lot duller than my own.
