The majority of Americans say they are independent because it seems "cool" to not take sides and be independent. The truth is, most Americans are liberal or Democratic. Don't believe me? Well, do you ever wonder why Democrats are always trying to "get out the vote" and Republicans aren't. That's because if every American voted, Democrats would win EVERY election!!! The only times Republicans ever win is when a large number of liberals/Democrats vote for the GOP ticket or many stay at home.
