WHy do people hate Hyenas, they are not scavengers. They scavenge when they can't find food. And You know people, I think put up these videos, to make Hyenas look bad. THey kill more than a Lion. Lions kill them for sport. That is like bullying in the animal world. Lions are not even fascinating. This summer I was bored and I watched TLK. Actually, lions miss their kill completely about 60% of the time. If the lions weren't hungry, they wouldn't have gone to the trouble of killing anything.

The hyenas drove them off using their superior numbers and intimidation. Surprisingly enough though, recent research has shown that it is far more common for the lions to drive the hyenas off their prey than the other way round. So really the lions rob more food off the hyenas than vice versa.
