Since I've heard this song the first time I was really impressed, and I feel like that every time i hear it now. I think it's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. The percussion pattern reminds me of distant explosions and I think it makes the perfect atmosphere!!!

Also, just to be a dickens- Quantum physics is really no less complex than Newtonian physics- even more so, from my exceedingly humble point of view, in that it expands on the later but requires more subtlety in paradigm.

The "New Age," flat explanation for this and that isn't actually quantum physics. It just uses quantum science to justify itself in an effort to appear simple evident.

@TheXieo this album isnt ment tobe that but that is a plausable expanation, the explaination by ayreon is that ona different planet "people" chose to advance machines instead of thm selves thus losing their emotions. with doom impending, the two people debate weither or not they should recieve their emotions back before they die. where earth comes into this is that as the last days aproach the forevers deside to send their souls to a new planet that was reciently hit by a comet conviently earth.

Honestly I only bought the album because I fell in love with this song.

I went to a store where they allowed me to test the albums before deciding wether to buy them or not.

So I began listening to the first track and it was ok.... then track 2 and OOOOOOMG!!!! I just bought it without even testing the rest of the album.

And must I say the rest of the album is just amazing, but in my opinion this is the best song in the album ;D
