I know this vid is older, so did you get the chance to put on the make up you wanted after the delivery? Kudos if you did!! :-) I think I'm going to be too exhausted personally after my husband and I have our first baby this March to do any make up! As for underwear, a friend of mine who has 3 little girls told me wearing Depends underwear is the way to go because of all the bleeding that occurs after. Maybe not cool but practica

She is a gorgeous mom to be, but I have news for her she is not going to need all that make-up at all. You'll be in too much pain to want to apply it, and after the baby is born you'll be too tired to put it on. Plus your focus is 100% on the well-being of your baby instead of yourself.

glitterchix4u -That's not true. You really do want to take makeup because you will get a lot of visitors and they will be taking tons of pictures of you and the baby. After having a baby, most women do not look too hot. Make up will be a very helpful tool to pretty up for those pictures. You will have help with the baby, with the nurses and family being there. So you will have some moments where you will be able to do your make up. :)

I suppose you are right. I've visited tons of new mommies in the hospital, and they didn't look too hot afterward. You get all sweaty, too, during labor...ick. I guess not packing makeup is just me since I don't really wear makeup anyway (except for the occasional blush and lip gloss). To each their own. I was kind of hoping this would give me some insight about what to pack for the baby...since I don't know what to pack for the baby. I am giving birth in October, and so am freaking out.

not sure if anyone has mentioned this or not, but your milk usually doesn't come in til 3-5 days after birth.. so if you did pump nothing will come out besides a few drops of colostrum(sp?) so breastfeeding the 1st few days they will just be getting the colostrum which is super good for them. Robe is optional- just wear another hospital gown backwards - less packing and laundry for you! The pink one is pretty cute though.

You have pretty much everything! There's a good chance the robe will get stained. I'd bring old undies & just chuck them after. CHAPSTICK. and PJ's. I didn't bring pajamas & I was the only one in the word who didn't have them. Make sure your hair clip is comfortable to lean on, might want something soft. I agree w/the others. They give you PLENTY of pads.

My hospital had shower stuff, disposable underwear, and pads for me but I don't know if they all do. Don't forget a hair brush and scrunchi to tie your hair back cuz a clip might hurt your head when your laying your head back and pushing. I didn't take makeup, I didn't even think of it. Maybe I should of cuz I looked like crap afterwards lol I would also recommend taking some pijama pants. I wish you and your man the best of luck you look well prepared :)
