  • @12345soccerguy Thank you!

  • i dont get this for some words y is there a random o in the front or ending of a word???? i can read Russian small words and sentances fine but when it comes to those random os that makes it sound not right i get confused? is it like a silent o??

  • @Random136studios from what i understand it's that seemingly randomly, o's can also be a's sometimes. according to a latvian friend of mine who speaks russian, its just a dialect thing

  • @themightyblondeone ok, i thought the os made a sounds so that part is sovled, but when i want to write a word, how will i know to put a A or an O. I guess it would depend on the word, but could u ask your freind. Btw thank you for the knowledge!

  • Pa-ZHAL-oo-sta. Granted, the oo is pronounced very quickly, but it's still there.

  • @dadnapt24 - that pronunciation is incorrect. It is "zdrast-vooy-tyeh"

  • @LetsGetItStartedNow agreed..its funny sometimes to see a funny pronunciation to language u speak

  • I love hoe they transcribed it wrong from the cyrillic

  • @steventhestudent "Рональд Регон говорит Господин Горбачев снесите эту стену"

  • Google russian alphabet learning and click on the link with langintro in the domain name. Within like three days I have a legitimately solid grasp on the alphabet.

  • Великий Советский Союз, не умрет вовек. УРА

  • One of the worst courses. Full of stupid mistakes. The intonation in the man's voice does not say "Do you speak English?" rather "Do you really speak English?" as if he has discovered something new about the person.

  • I thought pazhaloosta meant please in russian

  • @Stjensen96 It means both "please" and "you're welcome" ;)

  • @TheEmeraldshapale Im russian... And its not relly as hard as you think... it may have alot of letters but the WORDS the words are easy to say... well I dont relly know how it is for you...

  • @1aqworldsnighva well, you're Russian! You grew up learning it. Russian is hard...

  • @1aqworldsnighva Yes, but I'm mexican and I say spanish is easy to learn, every word is pronounced just as you read it, that works for people that know spanish, however, seems it doesn't works for everyone else.

  • How long is the phrase for where is the bathroom im going to s''' my pants?!

  • for me its hard because of the accent, it just doesnt sound right to me when i say it, but ill probably get it. i want to learn russian because i think russian is awsome

  • The only thing bad about these lessons is that it gives too much to memorize at once.

  • 3:05

    tehe

  • no one says bathroom

    Vanaya komnata

    Its tolyet

    which would be toliet

Americans would just sound dumb - asking for the vanaya komnata hahah

  • @LaneWalkerz yes we russians do say bathroom and its убoрная

  • @1aqworldsnighva sorry but now where I live, we all just say туалет

I never hear anyone say убoрная

And who you calling we Russians

I'm speaking from a Russian standpoint

  • @LaneWalkerz I eat the souls of unborn children, and Drink the blood of innocent men. Bring me 10,000 virgins, or I will eat your Soul!

  • @1aqworldsnighva you're going to have to find them on your own time

frankly I haven't any spare time

  • @1aqworldsnighva Shut the fuck up Vlad.

  • @JackD124 Lol was I talking to you? Now shut the fuck up.

  • hello was sexy the way she said it

  • You also know it will be difficult when their alphabet contains numbers and backwards letters.

  • @Xylophunk theres no numbers in russian alphabet O_o where did u get that?

  • I'm serbian so it's very easy for me to learn it, serbian and russian are so similar

  • how the hell would they know you want some damn food?

  • do all of those russian fuckers blink like that? we probably busted their asses up good and made them pass that down to the next generation so that when they talk they like, we lost and got our asses kickeed we lost and got our asses kicked we lost and got our asses kicked

  • @BAMxITSxWIZOUT hey you,for your information dumbass, america and russia never fought!Try to be proud also of your fat,mcdonalds-eating americans!пошел на хуй!

  • how's the 1980 hockey game treating you fuckers?

  • You don't need to know "Do you speak english" Because if you say it in english and they understand you then they speak it, or they go HUH? and you know they don't.

  • @taylor189 It's a courtesy thing when you travel. People shouldn't HAVE to understand and speak English just for our sake of traveling, and they usually appreciate it when you at least attempt at speaking their language. No one can blame you for trying. It also helps to break the ice a bit and they'll be more likely to help you with whatever you need.

  • 54 people hate Russians.

  • cock.... de lah

  • @N1CKF3D hahahaha

  • I'M RUSSIAN

  • Wrong.

  • Я хочу иметь секс с этой женщиной

  • I LOVE this language.

  • In Soviet Russia, language learn you!

  • They kinda make Russian sound harder than it really is. I've been studying it for a year now, and it seems that Russian has longer words, but they use less of them in a sentence. Also you can say привет (pree-vyet) if you can't say здравствуйте (hello). Also if you can't пожалуйста you can say не за что (you are welcome). Also, it would be very helpful to learn how to read cyrillic before travelling to Russia. The alphabet is actually a lot easier than it looks. Each character has one sound.

  • Что вы думали?

  • that woman is so hot!

  • и ние имаме един склуптор ,същите мисли , . Само като имаш история и казваш - Ден как обикновен , но на победата .

  • и ние имаме един склуптор ,същите мисли

  • And if you guys think all of that is confusing there is a formal and an informal way to say most of it... (this teach the formal version)

Its like in English you say Hi or hey to your friends, but hello to somebody you dont really know...

Best advice it go to Vkontakt site, hook up with some people there and learn Russian speaking from a Russian spaeker

  • @BladeRunner21577 the best way is to go Skype. Most of VKontakte users really din't know russian. However, there you can lern some extranecessary words like "хуй", "пизда", "яга", "ололо".

No, seriously, live webcam chat is better. lol

  • >din't

    it must be "don't" lol

  • @FFFim Thats true, "face to face" chat is better.

  • @FFFim What does it mean "яга" and "ололо"?

  • @Cluaran2 lol))

"яга" is "jaguar", an alcohol drink that tastes like sh*t and destructs your health more than vodka or any other drink. Stupid teens like it, *makes them look like grown-ups* or whatever.

And "ололо" is a silly internet word that means nothing))

  • XyйHR hui-nya

  • Хуйня hui-nya

  • Bad lesson at all

  • Я родился недалеко от москвы, азатем лереехап в америку. Мой беглости это хорошо, но мое;) Коннор Морхарт.

  • @nsaneskillz lololol thats funny

  • Da svidanija!

  • You will never use the bathroom in Russia.

  • @08CaptT shure?

  • @08CaptT In soviet russia, bathroom never use you!

  • makes me want to go to college so I can learn Russian I already have my Ushanka!! haha. Trouble with Google translator the English does not convert other languages because English has words other languages don't...

  • @08CaptT I'm with you on that!

  • Comment removed

  • @08CaptT in soviet russia, bathroom use you

  • @08CaptT stupid

  • @08CaptT "where is the bathroom" they say "where located bath room" - they dont say "is the" - strange but different :) - you probably knew that anyway..

  • @08CaptT what is that supposed to mean?

  • @sabi123ist It means that it's really difficult to pronounce.

    sorry for my English.

  • You know a language is going to be really hard to learn when the word for 'hello' is like, 18 letters long.

  • @sparrow819 I know! But I prefer to use Привет ( privet ) because it is more simple! ;D

  • @sparrow819 That's just the formal. If you're talking to someone you know you say Првет.

  • @Xilmwa you spelt Привет wrong

  • @1aqworldsnighva Ah yes I did. Thank you for pointing that out!

  • @sparrow819 But that is for formal. Informarly you say ''Privyét''

  • @sparrow819 Well the hardest language is chinese... You'll never know How many letters there is... it looks like 1 symbol... I dont get chinese -.- you know what Just bomb those assholes.

  • @sparrow819 it is not, there are so many shorter forms such as "KУ чувак" means hello dude

  • Sorry, but it's scary. Everything is much simpler.

    1. HELLO = hi = privEt

    2. GOODBYE = bye = pokA

    3. No one answers "very well, and you?" We don't have this traditional. So you can say just "normAlno, kak u vas?" (I'm fine, and you?)

    4. YOU ARE WELCOME = Good for you = na zda-rO-viye

    5. DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH better ask in English .^_^. And if you hear "Chto?" it means "No, sorry, I dont speak English"

    6. WHERE IS THE BATHROOM = where is WC = Gde tualet? (eng. "toilet")

    Be careful. Peace!

  • great , now i know how to ask where is the bathroom and i dont understand the instructions they give me

  • I was born in Russia and,of course, they don't speak like that . They are speaking very slowly so that we can get a handle on things. I think their pronunciation is pretty good. I am from Moscow. Where are you from?

  • ВОДКА, БАЛАЛАЙКА, ЖОПА СИСЬКИ, ТУПЫЕ АМЕРИКОСЫ, (УЧИТЕСЬ)

  • Easy.

  • I thought hello was privjet?

  • @tompom44 thats the informal version that means hi. zdrasveetyah is hello formally

  • @MrBuddyisreal i use privet to say hello

  • @umaovelha1 thats fine, but privyet is hi and is considered informal

  • @tompom44 Privjet Russia

  • all we americans need to know is

    Ya Sdayus Nostrilige

  • Russians always consider disrespectful and rude when met informally"Ty"(tu) for the very first time and/or elders. It's very imperative to be formal "Vy"("vos" as in Argentina,Paraguay,Uruguay)or "usted(vuestra merced)" as in Dominican Republic,Puerto Rico,Cuba,Peru,Colombia,Ecuador,Venezuela,Mexico,Central America) when met at the very first time.

  • @338dmac Para mi no fue complicado aprender ruso para nada en lo absoluto.Yo lo aprendi desde que era un adolescente de 14(en 1986).

  • Russian language was not so hard for me.

  • @123456RaulMorales I am stupid loser...Russian immigrants who live in my neighborhood ALL tell me they could speak English enough to land good, high paying jobs. Most laugh me down when I tell them I am native to America and can't at least move up to better pay and respect. One Russian young woman wearing expensive, classy bussiness suit with short skirt and long legs covered with pantyhose that was opaque black and wore black high heels (her whole attire was black! She say black is in...

  • ...she say it tell people you are conservative in all your beliefs and are religious. She crosses her arms and gives me a condescending look and loudly exclaims, "ARE YOU? I heard that you love and respect Russian people more than most other ethnic groups, except Chinese and Vietnamese and Japanese. Tell me, can you say, where is the bathroom in Russian? She was staring into my eyes with super self confidence. Mine was eroding as seconds and seconds passed. I maintained eye contact

  • @123456RaulMorales I told the Russian lady who now standing about three inches from my face, detecting my dying confidence. She was smirking, liking it. I weakly uttered, no, and she started to loudly talk in Russian what sounded like she was talking down to me and swearing at me like I was worthy of contempt. It went on for 5 minutes...thankfully it was in the laundry/mailroom and no one ever came in at 5 in the morning. Whew! Well, I took her abuse. Wuss! Please, any Russians out there, insult

  • @123456RaulMorales and berate me, put me down for not being able to remember simple things. I know some of you are going to be pissed of for writing this in a language channel, so let me know. The Russian women said that many people think many Russians are cold and conservative. She said, "It is our culture, and I am cold, and I don't care...you are retarded! Hahaha!" Russians, just beat me up for being so stupid that I can't even remember to say hello in russian. I will check that video...

  • @123456RaulMorales i will check the video one more time and run down to the mail room and wait for a russian to come by and I will say hello in russian to him or her, if my I.Q. is high enough to remember. It's 5 am and i must go to work, but can't get over this until i tell someone hello in russian...right now. I feel so nervous, that it will come out a schtrass-vee-teen...Oh, their look on their face will make my day. I will practice it as I walk down and continue to while walking outside, nut

  • @mnz2 are you are writer? :)

  • 0:01

  • Just be aware that the articulation in Russian is not so distinct and slow as in the video, this is just to help the learners. They pronounce the words correctly (they are native for sure) but the intonation is like the Estonian language. The natural flowing of the language is more fast and smooth.

    I am Russian.

  • Пожалуйста is "please", not "you're welcome".

  • @NeonJowii

    Both "please" and "you're welcome".

  • awesome elevator music !

  • painful to watch, but informative enough.
