@richardwadd - No brake booster so no need for a vacuum signal. I did take a 5mm tube off each runner and combine them with one way valves for the dissy vacuum though,
Yeah that was a failed experiment, in the end it ran best with very equal length tubes joined into one very long tube onto the dizzy, if i had it still i would have probably fixed the dizzy and recurved the spring weight curve to get it just the way i wanted, alas it is now someone elses toy.
1100, 1300cc? I had the same plan's for my Fiat 127 1300 engine, I have a Keihin CVK 40mm waiting for it, but think 40mm is maybe to big, I haven't found the right information yet. Cheers from the Netherlands!
I'm assuming you are referring to the tapping, which is actually the cam followers being out of adjustment, it has subsequently been adjusted following a top end rebuild, still got a whine though, think it must be the oil pump....
Carbs were stripped and cleaned, a few worn bits replaced, rebalanced, and thrown on, then commenced a lot of trial and error tuning. Watch the gsxr carbs, they are prone to wearing the slides, needles and emulsion tubes very quickly. Mine are marginal at best, will be looking for some newer carbs in better condition. Full throttle response is fine, but part throttle (less than 1/4) and idle is prettty inconsistent.
Hi nice carbs, im currently in the middle of putting bike carbs on my 1.1 106 purley for the noise and was wondering what filters your using? and how much were they cheers
Hey mate, it's running an HK, mechanical head motor, electronic ignition from a seat, other than that all stock. AFAIK the HK std cam is about as good as it gets for this motor without spending mega $. Once the carbs are dialled in properly i will probably recurve the dissy, to try and get a little more out of it, may shave the head to bump the CR up a bit to, we'll see.
ive got a mk3 polo coupe for a project i was thinking of doing this to it, how much does it cost and whats the performance like after the conversion?

this may be a stupid question but i'm not sure, would the bike carbs fit the same if it was a polo breadvan?

Free Energy is real but the coverup is strong, if you are interested in a REAL free energy machine then
just search for the LT MAGNET MOTOR in the youtube video search , it is probably the ONLY working magnet
motor out there. Join the free energy revolution!!

@isnowi Cool, thanks

@isnowi Have you removed the 1 way valves yet? They will keep your advance from returning like it's supposed to when you open up the throtle.
Or have you got some other bypass set up so solve that?

the whine may well be the dizzy, i had the same noise on my mk1 polo, change the bearing pack that holds the spindle and it'll go
