Please visit my channel for the unpopular truth about homosexuality.
A person does not need hatred or any kind of phobia in order to acknowledge important differences between heterosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption and homosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption. Even non-religious people know this.
Homosexual activists, with support from the media, have successfuly framed themselves as noble victims; it's an effective way to push a social agenda.
So if this whole "age of reason" concept has any validity, then it should be Christians who eat their babies and not atheists, as Christians like to infer. Ha - another Christian apologetic argument hits a logical dead end!
Here is another example, a small group of selfless Christians sacrificing themselves with an eternity in hell and starting a nuclear war that sterilizes the planet.
@JacobReesor The bible specifically commands you to stone disobediant teenagers. Read the entire bible, dude, not just the parts the preachers read to you in sermons.
@JacobReesor Please, read the Bible. It irks me to no end that when Christians get to uncomfortable, immoral parts of the Bible, they dismiss it as a "metaphor" or "looking to deep into it."
I couldn't agree more. Christians look for hidden metaphors when there is none. I am of the mindset that this book was written by desert warlords for the superstituous ignorant populace they were trying to control. So I think it was meant to be taken literally. And when you take it literally it turns out to be the most vile piece of rubish ever written.
@kipkayify Give Christian apologists some credit. They're trying to insert rationality into a book that wasn't founded on rationality. Much easier said than done. lol
there is a lady that actually did this. She took her son to a shooting range and while the boy was shooting downrange at the target she shot him in the back of the head. When questioned about it she "wanted to send him to heaven"
I see nothing wrong (if you assume the christian view is correct) with that woman killing off her kids to save them. It's better than blowing yourself up with fifty bystanders sending them all to hell while you go to heaven... Was it Don Coyote who attacked windmills thinking they were dragons? I would consider him a hero. Obviously he was severely deluded, but if he honestly thought he was slaying dragons, then he was.... sort of....I just lost my train of thought....
@moopism Ok, now I feel like an ass. LMAO. Your right. But just think of how many 'dragons' Don Quixote could have taken down with the resources of Acme?? ;v)
@skywize which reminds me of the WC Fields routine where he's trying to sleep on the boarding house porch with a mother and daughter above and below shouting across him in a never ending "I dunno, what do want", "I dunno what do YOU want" until he loses it....
@moopism I like the older sketches. The new shows don't quite cut it. One of my favorites was the Colgate Comedy Hour with Jerry Lewis. Some of them were good enough to fall over laughing.
@thatamazinggeek "In Germany we are not having any children, and Jews are breeding like rabbits. I only wish we had breeding programs here". said someone in 1933.
@HolyCity2012 i was just making a point. thatamazingeek's comment sounded to me a bit like something someone would've said in Nazi Germany before the war.
i completely agree with this. an example is when you see heavily religious people crying when someone they know has died or is going to die. in actuality they should be overjoyed since they are almost done with this trial or test run of a life and are about to be in a place much much better.
I bet he thinks he is so smart... I bet he doesnt know how dumb that question he asked was. Its dumb questions like these that make so much sense to the crowds of atheist that they would smile and snap their fingers and be like, gee golly pal your the smartest guy ever, why didnt I think of that. He might be smart but sometimes people are so smart that they are dumb and thats why we have videos like this on youtube. Im just saying grow up for once and dont be like these guys on this show please.
@tlrflyguy860 Care to point out the flaw in his logic or where he is wrong? It's all fine and well to sit back and insult people, but without any basis for your disagreement, you just end up looking like an idiot yourself.
@AvalonDraconis I rather look like a idiot than participate in something thats rebelling against God. Its just seem like everyone hat follow people like this actually have no spirit whatsoever and you wonder why their is not of black athiest besides the ones who are spiritually denying God because they want to sin. But I dont need proof anybody that sits back and laughs at their own question and think they are a genious especially when it comes to God is a joke in themselves.
@tlrflyguy860 So there are no black atheists, other than the ones denying god's existence? Huh? There are plenty of black atheists. There are also Asian atheists, Arab atheists, Jewish atheists, Italian atheists... for everyone class of person, there are atheists. Simply because it is a lack of belief in a god due to lack of evidence. Atheists don't deny god's existence because they want to sin, they don't believe because there is no reason to believe.
@tlrflyguy860 If the question is truly as dumb as you say then surely you can answer it easily, because i too would like to know (and no i'm not trying to call you out or anything, i'm genuinely curious), how would setting us straight and filling us in on why it's a stupid question be participating in "rebelling against god" in fact how would that be participating any more than stating that it's a stupid question in the first place, which you've already done?
so if we kill all christians, will we be doing them a favor by sending them to heaven sooner? if proposed to them how many would accept? why stay here when heaven is surely waiting?
It doesn't actually make sense to kill your kids, becuase christianity is purely Deantological. You aren't supposed to think about consequences; you just deepen your relationship with God, continuously. If you killed your kids in contravention of Biblical edicts, you'd be 'giving thought to the morrow' so to speak. You trust that if you do exactly as God says, he takes care of the rest. You aren't supposed to apply logic that way.
The commentators who point out that she could still go to heaven are probably right, based on her branch of Christianity. Once saved, always saved. The family I grew up in also believed that there was an age of accountability before which children were saved, and that someone who was truly saved would remain saved regardless of what sins they committed... but they'd also say that killing one's children is a sin, and that a good christian doesn't sin even to save others.
In Christianity, humans are born sinners, you don't just become one at some supposed "age of reason", so killing them would be pointless. Some denominations believe that baptized children are guaranteed to go to heaven and often perform baptisms on preemees that might not make it.
They should execute that crazy lady who kiilled her own kids so SHE can get to heaven sooner without costing the taxpayers the cost of life without parole.
Whoah, I thought Andrea Yates was suffering from post-pardum depression, was not in a state of mind, and just snapped and killed her kids - I didn't realize she had a religious motivation. That makes that entire event more sad. :(
@XavierDrake True, I have read that as well, but many Christian's speak of "seeing" loved ones in heaven. The bigger question is, according to Christian belief, couldn't she kill her children and then ask for forgiveness, thus guaranteeing a place in heaven?
