VB has better animations and moves more realistically but there many flaws such as spamming punches, no reliable defense mechanic besides swaying, etc..

i don't get why vb got rid of blocking, it worked real well in boxers road 1 which i think is probably one of the best boxing games of all time. if anything boxers road 1 was the game that paved way for realistic games and not many companies really took its model
