@estebvin It really is a shame and unbelievable but true. As a fan though, it's better for us because they're more accessible. We literally ran into Mark in a mall before the concert. Long story short but we went back to the mall and Mark was sitting alone on a bar stool in a steakhouse in the mall. Just unbelievable. I wanted to go sit next to him and buy him a beer but didn't want to bother him. Maybe an opportunity missed! It was an amazing show!

@crimsonsoldier09 Tremonti has said in an interview, that he doesn't have time to play all of the solos during warm up or the practice session before the concert, so he improvises the solo if he doesn't remember how it goes. Because he has a solo on almost every song, he focuses on the main ones, e.g. ties that bind, come to life, blackbird, wayward one, isolation, slip to the void etc..

It gets to a point where you dont even have to think about the notes being played. Muscle memory alone can take over and not even require brainpower. He must have been BS'ing on that question. He probably CHOSE to improvise just to make the performance more unique, not because he 'forgot how to play it".

I have been a die hard Tremonti Fan since AB was brand new and will forever

Great to hear about the new DVD. About the sung part before the last chorus, they did not missed it, in live is just that way. I wacthed them several times during the last tour and Myles does always the guitar lick instead the vocals. Keep in mind that in the album song there´s 2 diferent vocal parts in that moment, plus the guitars licks. So I guess that they decided to do it more "direct". It lacks too the second guitar on the chorus, may be for the same reason. But the live feeling is great!!

It's not a song that they do often, so when they do it, it's a special occation, and Mark improvs it as a "special treat" to the fans as a way to differentiate the studio version from the rarely peformed live version. If you check out my video from when they peformed it in Spokane (30 minutes away from Coeur d'Alene, ID), he improv's the solo (as well as other segments) there too, in a similar, if not the same way.
