@darthaeris No it is actually called Rose of May or in Japanese Rōzu obu Mei. I don't know where people are getting Loss of Me from perhaps when the creator said the name of the song because of his accent it sounded like Loss of Me? but the song is most certainly Rose of May.

@DoinkTonberry Yes L and R are the same in Japanese but that is not the problem, the song is Rouzu obu Mei, Rouzu is pronounced rowzu and Mei is pronounced May if it was Loss of Me it could be Rozu obu mii although Loss of Me doesn't make any sense they would have just called it Loosing Myself or something. Also the song is first heard on-board the Red Rose. I understand why you think Loss of Me fits the character but it is simply a mistranslation blown out of proportion. :)
