  • I like stop motion demonstration too

  • thx:-)

  • thanks

  • good job guyz!!!

  • dwit chagi or anything like this :D

  • @CraftlerUguR twi yo (jump) dwit (back) chagi (kick) I take UTF taekwondo

  • co to kurwa za pajac ??

  • i bet you have benn studying some martial arts, could you tell me what was it?

  • Nice kick... good for "surprise" factor. Will add this one to my practice routine.

  • Finally - Somebody who knows how to do it

  • Ushiro kicks have always been my weakness. I would love to learn this well :)

  • Thankyou, concise and to the point and each stage shown, many thanks.

  • oh my gosh this helped so much

    thanks alot man

  • So... does jumping while doing this make the kick stronger?

  • @XBlastburnerX No. It makes the kick quicker and enables you to kick from a closer range, making it a useful counter.

  • You shouldn't jump straight up but jump a bit forward :D

When i do that to my fellow TKD students they fly :D

    ANd thats funny

O Yeah swing ur torso and arms with powaahhhh

  • i would never kick like this because while jumping its very easy to fall to ground if your enemy is a good fighter (if i made spelling mistakes i am sorry)

and if you fall to ground de round is already lost

  • @greenbuschi works for kick boxing though

  • I really like your videos. Even without any explanation it becomes very obvious how to train those kicks

  • Respect !!

  • nice, helpfull. just need better foot positioning. aim to kick with the footsword

  • I was wondering what the name of this kick was...

  • that was pretty bad... more stretches

  • hahaha split lng yan at matututo tayo! nyan

  • Is that like a 180 back kick? I was just wondering

  • lol

  • No point being higher and all. Jumping high and shit is for performance.

Practicality, you'd want a nice hard one to anywhere to the torso, not hard to aim; big target. You'd wanna be a little higher if you're trying the head though of course.

  • soo awsome but it would even be better if it was higher still good though

  • thanks ,

this is the best kicks forever..................

    i learned perfectly...

  • thank you my friend :D

  • watching this guy makes me feel like im playing tekken....lol

  • @TheDocbach hwoarang!

  • thank you!

  • good tutorial and you didn't say a word. thanks.

  • nothing hard or special

  • Cool vids man i Subcribed :)

  • Great videos, esp the way it's laid all out!

btw description URL malformed (ends with closing bracket).

  • any one no how to do a butterfly kick

  • its not good this kick you need to see where you gonna drop your kick and if you see close hes locking baack

  • I have learned many kicks from you since im only a yellow belt and my teacher wont teach me till green stripe. i have prefected Tornado kick and Spinning hook kick from your vids so thanks. i am currently working on this kick.

  • nice kick

    one of my favorites too

  • this is one powerdull kick

  • funny !

  • youre good

    Saludos from Mexico

  • Lol this is called donkey kick

  • Fuck u

    Its called Dwit Chagi

  • GO AP CHAGI!!!

  • @_@

this is not at ap chagi

  • i kno im saying ap chagi is better, ap chagi is front kick.... so dont think you kno more than me

  • lmao calm down, i never said that i know more than you O.o but i didnt find sense saying ap chagi without a reason, and , i know what is ap chagi XD

but this is a counter kick ap chagi can use for attk

this too... but it would suck

  • ap chagi is useless it was a joke

  • isnt uselss O.o

well only if your openet is slow

but i use that kick to much XD

is not a knock out O.o

    is not a powerfull kick

but it if hit... you move your oponent... so you get space to throw another kick (I do that ... maybe is wrong maybe not xD)

  • Beamer is correct, the jumping version is faster because you don't have the friction of your grounded foot working against you, and you also have the momentum of the would be grounded leg, you don't push off at all times with a standing back kick, i'm not sure where that guy gets that. As for its applicability, it's like anything, its only applicable if you practice it. David Loiseau used it effectively in mma, benny urquidez was famous for it in kickboxing, and cung le used it in sanshou.

  • he explains de technique good

but when he do the back kick fast

then hi's not lifting he's other leg up

  • how heavy is that bag??

  • no, the kick would be faster if you jumped, then turned, but you don't you do both at the same time. it is faster, watch both done, or try both, and you'll see. also, you're not pushing off your foot at every moment on a standing back kick, you're pushing off at the end, if you pushed off at every moment you would actually lose even more force on the kick

  • You have to spot the target before you kick...

  • cant see the point in jumping ?

  • graham, when you spin (which I assure you is done in every form of back kick) some of your velocity is transferred into whatever matter you happen to be in contact with (hopefully mostly being the other person, which is what makes kicks work), but when you have one foot planted, a good portion of the velocity that should go into the other person is transferred via friction into the ground instead. jumping also makes the kick faster, higher, and more mobile

  • that is incorrect, when you do a spinning back kick safely standing on the ground the force and acceleration is greater because you are pushing your body off the ground at every moment. it's like the high side kick, it's also the floor that is pushing your enemy away, in a sense.

  • ..actually, the kick is faster without the jump. if you just twist into the move, it`ll be faster, and you`ll catch your opponent unawares. but, if you jump before hand, you`ll likely be warning your opponent of your neck move, as he then knows you`ll be trying some type of spinning move.

  • That's because you haven't practiced the kick with the jump enough :P

I personally don't care for this kick for myself however I know a few people who can pull it off very effectively and it's MUCH faster than standing, when mastered of course.

  • the only advantage i can see in jumping this way is that you won't get knocked down if they sweep your standing leg with a lowkick. but it kinda defeats the purpose since you could be just as easily pushed, people get slammed to the ground in MMA even when attempting a tiger knee, this is even worse balance-wise

  • it would look nicer if you extend your leg farther for beauty lol.... -source

    TKD

  • surely you wouldnt use that in a fight?!!??

  • sure u would, it's quite a popular counter attack in tkd sparring matches ~ can be quickly executed and does its job.

  • kl ill use it next time lol

  • it would work great in a street fight too, stupid teenagers dont kno wat the hell to do when they're matched with kicks. (im a teen too, but i kno my basics)

  • keep up the good work. excelent

  • I teach students to be able to throw this kick from very close range, almost from the clinch. The kick isn't pretty from this range and isn't meant to be. However, the best way to teach the fundamental technique is to show it unhindered as this guy has done. Like always many people don't look past their own ego. Absorb what is useful.

  • very nice way to show how to do something useless. But, if you did land one in a real situation, it would be devastating. Care to see if i'm right? Not trying to be mean, just tired of people wasting time to learn how to look good, instead of how to end something quikly, or not even have it begin. Teach that.

  • and NEVER turn your back to the enemy! Basic 101. WHich is why they dont teach you this crap in special forces. They teach ground fighting, thats about as far as the "karate" crap goes.

  • Hey, this is a sport too, you know. Why not complain on golf instead, which has no real function whatsoever. The people who put fighting/martial arts tutorials on the web aren't trying to teach people how to survive on the streets. It's for the competitive aspect as well.

Carry a gun, if you want to be prepared for "enemies".

  • It is a lot of satisfaction --> you feel better

  • your wrong but there isn't any point in arguing with you over the internet im just going to tell you your wrong and be a condesending douche and tell you your wrong because i can. why are you watching this video if you don't beleive this technique is effective hmm i think your just trying to rain on our parade

  • that really kicks ass. this guy could use a back kick in many situations where few other people could

  • He can see the target when he kicks it, when doing spinning kicks you have to get your head round as fast as possible so you only lose sight of your target for a split second. This guy does it with great technique!

  • as he was focused on the target he didn't had to look where his hit strikes, he strikes the target all the time, because he has it in his mind, try like this: put a scratch on the wall, a big X with a tape, focus on it, first punch it, after that kick it(maegeri,yokogeri/apchagi, yopchagi/side kick, mid kick)but do it like 50 times, the time you need to focus it...put something on ur foot,a colorprint and close your eyes, you will hit the target like 90% of times and 10% you will hit near, try it.

  • Agreed. Plus this guy isn't even trying. He's just doing a tutorial

  • Super power, I don't want this one on my face, or anywhere else.

  • the problem is your not looing to your target.,,

  • he still hits it duh

  • hes obvisously hiting his target bitch

  • lol when u kick ur not looking at the target problem

  • which martial do you practice??

whatever it is you're good at it!

  • its Taekwondo

  • he's doing tae kwon do

  • i got a problem, if i look back, i'll tend to lose balance. also, in in a normal back kick, do i look back first before lifting my leg to kick or lift, look and kick?

  • for the normal back kick-

    1)rotate

    2)peek

    3)kick

  • he did 1 mistake....he didnt look back during the kick because your susposed to see where your kicking

  • you are right in a real fight you needn´t do this mistake but he knows at the moment where he must kick ^^

  • I should thank this guy because i learned something from him.....

  • pretty cool

  • This guys is great because he teaches step by step and breaks down the entire move so it'll be easier to just watch and learn.

  • anyone know where to find a hook kick and flying side kick tutorial?

  • ive seen some of his tutorials and theyre pretty good but his legs are landing to far apart in this one and he is landing so his chest is facing the wrong way. other wise good

  • whine whine crie

  • thanks for these tutorial videos, they really help!

  • Dude you have great tutorials! They help!

  • The jumping back kick is lick doing a herkie...[sorry for the misspelling]

  • baum

  • Thank you for putting these online!

It's been years since I've been in formal training and I don't remember being hugely proficient at some of these kicks anyway.

These tutorials break everything down wonderfully and make me think I could get good at these again!

  • Wow, this is exactly what i needed! now i can study these tecniques thoroughly.

Thanks and feel free to post more turorials, greatly appreciated!

  • I like the way he kix, excellent tech, the thing is, he does not look at the target, so, if the guy moves, that's a miss and u open an space for a counter, other than that, i just love this guy's tutorial, i personally have studied all of them, and they have helped me a lot when teaching... :D

  • I like it. Good video you look at your opponent befor you leap in the air anyway for all those who dont understand and keep saying bad things about this man and his video. But lets say your right and im wrong even if he looks what does that change? If the opponent moved his still in mid air looking or not....

  • keep that guard up man! lol jk

    thnx man!

  • who cares? he drills the bag every time whether he looks at it or not

  • Obviously, you are one uncultured, idiotic, fucking retarded dumbass who has never learned how to fucking kick properly, as you are nothing but a fatass motherfucker who washes his face with cum and shit every night and drinks his own urine. Dick

  • heheh, jealousy is bad ya know. how do ya know how to wash the face with cum and shit? that's because you do it too, lol

  • wow u fukn retard is this even about the kick dickface? u say im a fukn retard bro fuck as u can clearly c he dosnt so shut the fuck up and watch the vid again motherfucker

  • Just because you can't do it... God your writing looks like you're crying your eyes out.

  • it can be more high but its ok and excersice drill they teach me to do this kick is to jump and do a 360 degree turn cool video

  • I will help you because you are illiterate.

    - Your kick could be higher but you did a good job anyways. The Exercise drill my instructors taught me consists of a 360 degree turn with the jump. Your video is cool.

  • Idiot i was saying that he could perform the kick higher you wirte down the same drill i wrote before you jump and then you turn yourself thats all.

    leave your shit for others

  • all these kicks are powerful in a street fight these would be good and in a cage fight mma kicks dominate just look at cung le

  • actually, cung le will get squashed by serious all aorund guys like GSP or PJ Penn. In MMA, Cung Le doesnt do good when ppl actually rush him, not to mention take downs and ground. Cung Le is definitely one of my favorites though.

  • ur vids r auwesome. the ppl who say stuff like "u suck, ur supposed to use the balh-blah-blah" are actually just kids who read a sparring manual and pretend to be as good as u. keep it up.

  • thanx dude, your lessons are great

  • would you use this in a street fight

  • No.

  • Agreed.

  • why not? because of the time taken for it? or the risk of humiliation if you fall lol

  • yes, that kick is so powerful!

  • In a street fight, aim for the knees.

  • if a fighter is good enough, he can perform such kick anywhere

  • yes

  • I've seen most of your tutorials and I must say they're pretty good. You provide thorough explanation both in comment and in video itself. +1

  • ican do that yaay me

  • ur not supposed to jump that much cus u lose power that way, ur just supposed to switch ur feet really fast, also, use ur heel not the ball of the foot

  • lol

it seems powerful and it also seems that this kick is used to hit on balls.... lol

  • well it depends on how high you can jump

  • hes not looking back tho so he wont see the target like its powerful if ur trying to hit someone but u have ito be precise to hit like a board

  • dang, looks like a very powerful kick...

  • you are good man!

  • hmmm....i go lik way forward in the air when i do ths kick,is tht a bad thing?

  • hm...i could just imagine that the chance of falling might increase

  • This kick is not that difficult, but it looks simpler than it is. You have to remember that the film was slowed to help people see it, this kick can be be performed quickly enough to be an effective counter.

  • ive done martial arts and trainging and stuff so dont get me wrong im not a begginer but not expert, intermidiate you could say but yeh its not an obsession o anything i just do it for fu, but most of the time wen i do a back kick i always end up hittin with my ball of my foot aswell and it reli hurts my calf any pointers on how to help?? would more stretching be helpful??

    Bravo!!!

  • Mille grazie! Come lo sai che io parlo italiano?

  • niet zo grote bek he

  • Lol, ikdelauwste owns you all irl. He kicks peoples asses everyday...dont fock with him:)

  • ..... ya right=\

  • ....ye right

  • I use this kick not to finish but to interupt his roundhouse for example

  • HA!!im an expert at that kick, i won a fight basically using that kick at the end. However this guy is more clean in his style than me.

  • Ladoplayer, you are an idiot, its not cheap shot kick.

  • How else are you going to catch anybody with this type of kick unless they are unaware they are even in a fight. Look at how much time there is to react when he leaps back then he has to spin around. Althiugh it does look cool and would really hurt.

  • i understand where u are coming from, it doesn't look practical, but from experience, its effective in competitions, but in the streets, u better get a runnning start and be the first to strike. im not a master yet, but my experience isnt sufficient to pull it off juss yet. the only times i would do this is if i juss made the guy bend over and pull this technique as crisp and as fast as possible

  • maybe there's more versions of the jumping back kick than yours? martial art techniques vary greatly from one club to another...

  • the jump back kick is really a defensive kick or so ive been taught...its good if you have the speed to use it for offense but its best if you can have your opponent chase you and draw them in..a powerful back kick to the stomach chest, or face is game over.

  • sthraight kicks are faster than circuler ones, love this one stright to the liver =)

  • who is this guy?? these kick are really good. It helped my Taekwondo a lot!

  • it's peripheral, lol

  • Houjin, jump back kick. I love it!! Thanks

  • these are really helpful :)

  • The the link to the video in the description doesn't work because of the ) at the end. Put a space between it and the end of the video ID and it will work. Delete this comment afterwards if you feel so inclined.

  • i know u are propably more experienced than me , but that doesnt mean i cant tell u that,

u must look at the target before kicking a bag doent move , but areal opponent will.

u dont look at ur target at all , same goes in your non-jumping back kick too

  • The term you were searching for is peripheral vision.

  • who cares we knew what they meant

  • if you have the nerve to claim the abilty at least have proper form not to mention power tuck the plant foot in the air next time and work on that two inch vert

  • This is good training methods. Thank you for showing this.
